I've not seen him beat a man, when he gets to a defender he doesnt know what to do, lacks confidence and cant cross He did 4 times at Coventry in the second half alone. You didn't go cov then?

I'll drive him up there myself. I'd take 10m if that bought a more direct winger, who could cross, and beat a man and had an ounce of pace. i'm not a fan, if you cant tell. Our internationally capped 20-year-old winger might be wanted by a club who are much better than us and have just sold a player for £142m, presumably he has been recommended by the African player of the year who is his international teammate. And, in a market where players like Jordon Ibe cost £15m, you'd sell him for £10m? Seriously, give you head a wobble. I have no idea what Ramadan's real potential actually is, but he's bloody 20. I think people have been forgetting that this season. He's been inconsistent and patchy, but actually had a relatively good December. There is a player in there somewhere, but people are quick to get on his back because he's not Marko Arnautovic. Who also did not show his true potential for a couple of Years ........ Give the lad a chance FFS Bad business for us if we let him go

We haven't got anyone much else for that position.
We've already got rid of the manager and his coaching assistant and Jese.
If we just get rid of anyone who has come up slightly short this season we won't have anyone at all left for this supposed fight back.

He is good, I am sure about that 100% but he lost his confidence, He wasted more than a year of his career with Hughes, It is not only because he didn't improve but also he was much better than that 2 years ago. It deserves to try the new manager, he needs good coaching and confidence and he may earn that with the new manager then he can move for higher fees or to a better team than Liverpool. Did you also think he might've just been playing against much poorer opposition before? This is the Premier League. It's tough. 1- He is an international player 2- PL is the best competiting league in the world, but his ex-club Al Ahly can beat many teams playing in PL " Al ahly is mostly the egyptian national team"

Not to be disrespectful, I believe the Egyptian national team can get a draw or even a win against England national team, the Egyptian national team has at least 10 players from Al Ahly in addition to some players playing in Europe. Any way this is not the case now, Ramadan is still 20 years old, I believe he will be something great after 2-3 years, lets wait and see, I also believe he has to stay in Stoke with the new manager.

I have to say that in my opinion Sobhi is not even premiership standard. Loved to be proved wrong but hes never really stood out. Too slow and not good enough without being fast if you know what I mean. I'd let him go.

I don't see any truth in this story. The lad is 20 and he will get better. He will not be moving anywhere. I like him, and he will turn into a good player for us. Much like Tom Edwards is. Hughes never did anything for us did he.....................

Don't know how some clown can say he was great in his first season, he hardly played a game. What I see is a player with a bit of potential but a worrying lack of pace for a wide player. Talking about Jordan Ibe, I'd much rather have him than Ramadan because he has real pace and it's difficult to judge him properly because his chances have been few and far between. This thread is a thing of fantasy, he's a million miles from being a player good enough for Liverpool .

Pace may ultimately be the factor that stops him from being an elite attacker, but seen enough of him to see he's got brilliant attributes that mitigate not having raw rapidity. He's a good dribbler and strong, very difficult to knock him off the ball, from the off he's out competed prem defenders for muscle. Lamented his lack of shooting boots/strike rate but seems to be getting better at that recently. Always looks decent on the right too. Seems to have got back into shape, good lad.

I think he is going to be a great player. Speed may be a stumbling block in the Prem, but this kid would be tearing shit up in Italy already.
With some concentration on his passing he can be a complete creative force cutting in from the left hand side.

Really? Egypt has one player that is of quality. England has many. Sterling, Kane, Rashford, Dele Alli, John Stones, Danny Rose, Butland, Wilshere, Lallana.

He’s a great player but is he world class, I don’t know but I’m looking forward to watching him against the very best in the world this summer. I think he needs to prove he’s world class by playing the top teams he can only do that if we progress in the World Cup.

I admit he hasn’t been doing it enough after a poor first half at Coventry and possibly getting a rollicking at half time he had a very good second half.

I'll give you Kane- none of the others would get into any of the top 6 teams (Germany, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, France,) - Rose Wilshere and Lallana(unfortunately) would not get into several teams below that level.

Also beat season scores of Henry, Van Persie, Aguero and Suarez..... Also scored more goals than Messi, Lewandowski, Cavani and Ronaldo in the same calendar year. Only Messi and Ronaldo have ever scored more in a previous calendar year in the history of the sport in europe.... More Hat-tricks in a premier league year than anyone else in history. Averages 30+ goals a season in the prem for the last 4 seasons (ever since his first team breakthrough) Yeah, he's world class Oh and he's still only 24

Yeah which Egyptian players would you take over them? I wasn't commenting on that. I was simply commenting on your assertion that we had many quality players and the list you produced to back that assertion up. You forgot Jake Livermore, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Jordan Henderson by the way.

If you don't think so then you haven't been watching much football. England players in particular have been very impressive this season.

The bit of your post I highlighted was your assertion that we had many quality players. I did not comment on your assertion that Egypt only has one qulaity player or the comparitive abilities (or not ) of the two teams. I do not really care about Egypt, I don't really care about England if truth be told mainly because of the dearth of quality players. Is that clear?
