I might be Gas but I have to say I found myself feeling a bit pleased about that. Would anyone want Vale to win if they were playing there in the cup? BM No! I'd offer them all the credit they deserve after the win, begrudgingly! And I don't even mind Vale but I couldn't handle them gloating a big win. I'd love them to do well but not as well as us

Congratulations It’s same as all my years living in Bristol no one calls Rovers or City “Bristol’ . Mind you it’s no wonder you get knobhead owners like at Hull City wanting to change the name to Tigers is it when the whole fucking country thinks there’s only one City! BM

All things considered it’s beyond embarrassing that we turn up at these types of games and we’ve lost before a ball has even been kicked.

Worse than that mate, it was over before the ref even blew the whistle. Bristol getting beaten in the final seconds is a valiant effort. It shows how grit and determination is a massively overlooked attribute by us. Here’s hoping the new manager can fire the lads up for the remainder of the season.

The game at city was worse because it wa their elfin reserves that beat us. When we played Manchester at least their manager said it was the best they’d played since he’d been there. Agree though that both games were pathetic for us and utterly embarrassing and that has to change! BM

Would Lee Johnson have got that scoreline last night with Stoke? If he could have, then maybe the new manager can improve what we have. If not, then Hughes has left us in Shit street.

Which begs the question,do we really need a manager with Premiership experience to get us out of this mess,or someone with exceptional coaching tactics,no matter level they are at,as proved by Bristol City...Hughes had all that experience at the highest level, but was CLEARLY undone by his lack of tactical nous....
