Ironic that he's tweeting from Spain.

For me he's unprofessional. His physical condition is a disgrace. What about BMI's when he turned up this year- don't you think he's been a bit of a lard arse- might also explain the groin strains he's been prone to? Well that's OK then... Adam has not been in proper condition ever since he came here. Even Toxic couldn't get him totally in shape. Shame because he's a a good player.

Is it just me who takes exception at this? "the Manager" -No he's not. Thank "Mark Hughes" (as I do) but he's not the manager. "this club's #1" - Does it hurt to be proud enough to say "Stoke's #1" Sounds like he can't wait to be some other club's #1. The players had a huge part to play in this debacle (as well as Hughes, Scholes, Cartwright, Coates) and in my view they do not get a free pass because Hughes has gone. They are the ones who have to put in the hard yards and nothing less than FULL commitment. Where's the "we are going to do better" type comments? I am sorry, but if you let in more goals than any other team, your keeper is also has to take some blame. C'mon Stoke Players. Stand up, acknowledge you have to, and are going to, do a whole lot better!

sounds similar to when Charlie spoke out in TP's last season when the players needed to dig in and 'do what was needed'

Butland is pissing me off lately. Another yes man. Yes we need to do this, yes we need to pull together, yes things haven't been good enough. Shut the fuck up and DO IT THEN.

Not enough to give you some proper game time Thibaud Was all of the talk in pre season just about saying the right things and keeping on the right side of the right people? It might be. But even Hughes cannot be criticised for not playing an injured player.

"So sad to see Mark Hughes get sacked, my thoughts and prayers are with him during this difficult time"
What's the point? It'd be more honest to say "sorry we were so rubbish that we got you sacked, boss".

Yes it's just you, give the players credit for showing some appreciation to a manager who achieved the best run of top half finishes in the top flight ever seen at this club. He may then have lost his way and fully deserved the chop but don't attempt some sort of Stalinist air-brushing of history.

I thank Hughes and, (if you want to check any of my previous posts), have been one of his biggest supporters and am eternally grateful for the good times. BUT, he is NOT our manager. My point is, instead of vague "The Manager" "This club", be specific "Mark Hughes" "Stoke". It almost sounds as if he doesn't want to be associated with the name Stoke or anything about it.
