Would he come to Stoke? I think he is the best available and would demand a budget to spend and high salary Thoughts?

Blokes a vile vindictive cunt and there's good reason he's been out of work since getting the sack.

I'd go for him too. The selling of Lukaku by the club cost him dear.
At least he wasn't thick enough to replace him with Berahino

I'm not suggesting he's a nonce btw. “Coach not giving youth a chance” - shocker Sounds familiar don’t it.... He’s a damn good coach is Koeman and if you take just 5 minutes to check his honours list,on Wikipedia he’s won more on his own than some teams have combined. That’s what we need right now - someone with a winning mentality

The Stoke Board are in an emergency situation whether they realize it or not. Having dithered for so long, at least they have taken action now, and need a proven manager like Koeman to rescue them from a crisis of their own creation. Give him to the end of the season. If he succeeds it will boost his name in the game.

Sky sports say he’s not interested That's a shame then but not surprising really. Wouldn't want him. Wasted shit loads of money at Everton and lost the dressing room. Everton were defensively shocking and we need someone who can address our defence, and quickly.

Never showed commitment or passion to Everton referred to them in press conferences as Everton and not us. We need both from our new manager someone to galvanise players and fans alike, which in my opinion Koeman will not do. Has too big of an ego.

Why on earth would the likes of Koeman, Bilic and Rowett come to Stoke now? Koeman and Bilic still have a shred of credibility whist Rowett is on an upward curve where he is now. As much as sacking Hughes was the right decision we're entering into the likes of McClaren, Pearson and Giggs unless the Board make a brave decision and bring in either Potter or Jokanovic

Blokes a vile vindictive cunt and there's good reason he's been out of work since getting the sack. I have absolutely no idea what he's like to work with behind the scenes, but the reason he's out of work is because he got sacked three months ago in the middle of a season and is no rush to take up a job that doesn't interest him. To pretend otherwise would be a bit daft. He's a decent manager, though, I do know that. His time at Everton ended after they sold their best striker and they failed to replace him. Clearly, he could have done better and deserved to be sacked, but that would be difficult for any manager. He did great things at Southampton during both his seasons there and got the Everton job on merit. Doubt he'd be interested in us, but (I had any say in the matter) I'd happily entertain the prospect of him managing us if he was willing to consider it.

He’s been out of work for long enough now that it’s got to be worth a phone call. I’d say it’s more realistic than the potential of Rowett leaving Derby for example.
If he says no then you’d have to wonder what’s really going to come along for him in the summer? I doubt he’s going to be on too many Premier League clubs’ radar given the number of relatively new managers and it seems unlikely he’s going to be offered a much higher wage that he could get here than anywhere else other than China.
I’d like him in, seems to be a good manager in this league overall, pragmatic enough to sort out our defensive woes this season and not going to alienate as many players as a O’Neill and Keane combo might.

The more I look at Ronald Koeman's managerial record the more I think this would be a good appointment! His record is outstanding and even at Everton he won more than he lost and had a plus goal difference.

The problem is whoever eventually takes what is likely to be a poisoned chalice, will have very little time to assess the squads needs and to try and do something in the weeks ahead in transfer talks. It has been said before and its never been clearer that this shambles of a management team and have left us in a real mess. Expecting a manager to come in and sort it out is a big ask.
