Who was the last Stoke manager to get sacked straight after a match? Alan Ball?

I have no faith in the board to make a quick decision like that. He will still be here on Monday.

“I don’t see what all the fuss is about!”. Let me explain League Cup run ❌ FA Cup Run ❌ Safe from relegation ❌fucking hell thats depressing Playing well ❌ Good team spirit ❌ Great signing ❌ Scoring goals ❌ Clean sheets ❌

Hasn't Coates previously stated that he never meets with a manager the night of / day after a game as emotions are always running high? He'll still be here on Monday most likely.

May as well keep Hughes. We are going down anyway as its too late for a new manager now. At least that way he may end up resigning so we don't have to pay the loser off...

Tony Scholes, our great CEO, told me he would be sacked if we didn't beat Coventry, even a draw would've seen the axe drop on his head. Bye bye Sparky, about fucking time. Did he mention what it would take for him to be chopped as well?! Tony isn't going anywhere, well worth his wage no doubt about it.

Sparky will be here until he produces a 3 month plan that results in a game plan that replicates La Liga

Hellu!
He will probably stay until Feb 1st at least. Otherwise I would be surprised.

How much more will it take. Surely has to go before the Man Utd game. Anywhere else he would have been gone a long time ago

I want Hughes gone too but it’s complete arrogance to suggest that the current squad should be doing a lot better. I’d say we are only slightly below where we should be. A new manager could take us up a few places up but the whole club needs changing for us to move forwards.
Everyone could see what was coming without serious changes after last season yet we tried to do everything on the cheap before we sanctioned a £16m deal for a player who’d moved for £4m prior and done nothing since!
What a complete mess.
