I know a few people who have said it makes the second half of a season more interesting and exciting with something to play for. I think it' absolute bollox myself.
What would you prefer? This struggle we find ourselves in or mid table comfort??

Comfort every time of course. Thing is, I wouldn't mind the relegation battle if it brought out the bear pit, but it will exacerbate the 'fuck this for a game of soldiers, I'm leaving early 'to beat the traffic'* pit.

I've seen plenty of knobheads on here who have not only claimed they'd rather the excitement of a relegation fight, but have also said they wouldn't mind, and would actually quite like to go back to the Championship!

Considering I'm the only one (I know of) on here who put his money where his mouth was and made a $500 bet with a liverpool fan that we would stay up on the first day of the season, I would say a relegation battle is the last thing I want for this club.
My own father, the father who got me into this CTID to begin with even tried to get me lump on our relegation at 5/1 ages back to hedge my bet. I considered, but declined in the end. Seems wrong to do that, I just cant.
It's not looking good, I will probably have to give a weeks wages (which I can in no way afford) to a liverpool supporter if it does go tits up. To say I'm stressed is an understatement. There is nothing fun about this. My father, at 70+ will never see us in the top tier again if we drop, and he said he used any prayers he had from back in the day to see us where we are now.
In short, there is nothing good about this. Unless you are a masochist and enjoy every radio pundit and TV channel across the globe taking the piss, because, make no mistake, we are the piss take now.
Everyone on the planet, including our chairman's daughter, knows we are really on our way down.. telling me that the mathematicians and stataticians at bet365 haven't emailed Denise Coates with an urgent highlight....
I've heard complacency suggested. If action is not taken soon it's not even borderline-- It's straight up negligence.
