My workmate is a Southampton fan. We were taliking today they have won one less game than us. They have the same problem in January do they back the manager with money. We will both be looking for new mangers at this rate.. Problem is if we back the manager and spend big do we trust Hughes in the market. Plus clubs now know we'll be desperate and potentially up the prices. It's going to be a long month! I think i would trust Hughes, its just the others that i have doubts about...

So we now have to rely on teams above us being shitter than we are. What a worrying thought that is! Plenty of time for twists and turns yet. Still 16 games to go

Wimmer is ok. I believe Imbula would have come good. And Beriahino....i don't know. I don't expect Hughes agreed on the price paid for any of them truth be told.

He let imbula go and Berahino is as mobile as Nelsons Column, makes Carruthers look prolific and has to go down as our worst ever signing

10th is still only 5 points away. Swings and roundabouts. That's a win and 3 draws, or 2 wins if we include goal difference Have you seen our recent record ?

We don’t have any midfielders who can pass the ball forward.

There's just so many ways the bottom ten teams can ruin things for each other. We are definitely bottom three because we deserve to be, but sometimes teams that don't deserve winning do anyway; why not us? Because we can't score and concede for fun Bottom three is a figure on a live table there to be changed around. However most posters here are bottom one when it comes to support and optmism.

That’s your lot as well. That bottom three isn’t changing, just enjoy the rest of the Premiership days out everyone, it’ll be a very long time before we see them again. Sincere thanks to the “family”, Mark Hughes, Tony Scholes and Mark Cartwright for being collectively the thickest and most incompetent bastards to ever oversee a football club, i wouldn’t even have them looking after stoke virtually on a games console. I think the last paragraph takes hyperbole to a new level. I can introduce you to fans of Blackpool, Coventry, Leeds, Pompey, Leyton Orient, Blackburn, Wimbledon and many others who would rightly laugh at the proposition that we have the worst owners ever to own a football club. We are certainly in a relegation fight, no doubt about that, but I just hope the manager, whoever it turns out to be, and the players, and the fans, don't take your attitude or it will become a self-fulfilling prophesy. We all must believe that it's possible to survive, which it certainly is. It won't be easy, but we are only half way through the season, and we are not adrift but in the bottom three by goal difference.

10th is still only 5 points away. Swings and roundabouts. That would be fine if we had been unlucky with results and playing well, but we're not, we're a shambles, the manager is misusing his squad and it needs changing.

Watford are in a relegation battle on recent form, no doubt about it. If Coates holds out long enough Marco Silva might be available in a couple of weeks!

I was making the point in relation to a lot of Stoke fans who thought he was the best thing since sliced bread up until about 6 weeks ago. Watford have been stinking for a long time.

Crickey, that’s put a bit of a dent in the chase for a Europa Cup spot, never mind we’ll have to concentrate on the FA Cup now. “Don’t know what the fuss is all about “.

Wank. We didn't invest when we were riding high after finishing the season with a 6-1 tonking of Liverpool. Ever since then it's been downhill. Utterly shambolic.
