I want him out but I still think he'll keep us up. I'm pretty certain he'll be in charge until the end of the season.

I wouldn’t say I back him, but we could manage to stay up with him in charge although it will be miserable. How? We decline further with every week that passes. The win and draw in the last week and a half render you comment incorrect. However I agree we are in decline. That’s apparent to all. I can see us doing just enough to stay up with Hughes and that was my point. I don’t want that, I want him to go but I don’t see a manager out there at the moment bar the usual merry go round guys and I don’t want stoke to be part of that.

I still back him, but it's hard work now I have to admit. I can see us staying up with him. But the whole set up needs looking at. Not sure in all honesty who else would come here in the situation we are in..

As allardyce aptly put the other day, losing to teams around you puts you under greater pressure to get something against the bigger clubs. On to man Utd it is then Yes A 0-5 away win is on the cards, isn't it ? Hoof it up to the lamp post and we'll be just aaaaall right, course we will, you would bet your house on it wouldn't you ?

Can't see where 18-20 points are going to come from with Hughes in charge Why.. do you think Martin O'Neil will change things? I was an ardent pro Hughes supporter until the Spurs game, I was then in the get rid in the summer camp but the football has been getting worse and worse. I can't see anyway he'll keep us up so I'd be prepared to roll the dice and take my chance with another manager. Don't think Martin O Neill will cut the mustard but at this stage I genuinely don't think he'd do any worse than Hughes. His analysis of today's game was cloud cuckoo land stuff, we were lucky to only lose by one

Do you see us winning another six games? Perhaps five and a couple of draws. Do you mind listing the 5 games you think we'll win, thanks? Can't see it myself. Lost to the following teams already when they were below us in the table: Bournemouth Palace Newcastle West Ham

I'm trying to be positive, and in the main I have backed Mark Hughes. I do think he has suffered some misfortune this season with regards to injuries etc.
BUT.......
I don't think he is handling the situation at all well. Statements such as 'I don't do relegation' and in an earlier interview this weekend he was saying that 2 wins and 7 points at Christmas isn't a bad haul (after the 5-0 thrashing, or sorry, the latest 5-0 thrashing) before the Newcastle match kicked off. Arrogance and assumption there.
It's difficult to make a case for him now after Shaq's comments and the interview storm out. I do genuinely think he wants to do well for the club, but I think there are too many issues now.
So no, I don't think I could say I would back him to keep us up.

Yeh. I'm still in the "be careful what you wish for" camp. Just don't like this disgusting name calling of our Manager. Call him "inept" .. "clueless" if you want but please don't call him a "c**t" He doesn't deserve that. I agree "c**t"s are allegedly useful

We have some good games coming up after the man United game.
All we need is a new midfielder and a new manager to cast a fresh pair of eyes over things, we have time to sort it out.
But absolutely there is no prospect of Hughes sorting it out. The board have given him all the support they can.
