If Spurs have to lose him to one of Spains big two then getting Gareth Bale back as a sweetener would soften the blow some what, but Harry Kane will be irreplaceable for a club like Spurs because strikers like him are one in a generation players.

Not sure it would work for either of them. Has Kane got the various characteristics required to adapt to the challenge? Football would be about 60% of his situation.
And is Bale the force he was?

Kane is a Tottenham lad so it would take something special to get him. He always seems quite level headed as well.

it's rare for players to have been committed fanatical supporters. Kane for instance won't really have been in a position to go and watch Arsenal because he will have been playing. Paul Scholes has said him being an Oldham fan is hugely overstated. They aren't in a situation to actively support a team.

Couldn't see it being a good deal for Bale but Kane would thrive at Madrid. What's the othe 40% of the situation ? For a young guy he has his head screwed on. Raul is a legend for them and Kane is better than him by a long way.

If I were Levy I'd rather sell Kane to a foreign club.

They could always sign Berahino from us for a cheap £30M to replace Kane ...

He has his head screwed on BUT the biggest challenge of his career was France in 2016 and he was hopelessly inadequate. Hopefully he has grown up and is prepared to learn.
