I just heard one of the commentators say that Johnny Evans had picked up his 5th Yellow card but that wouldn't rule him out of the next game now because they changed the rules to be 5 by the 19th game of the season instead of the 31st December. So did we rest Allen unneccesarily yesterday?

West Brom has a stupid player called James Mcclean, he always makes stupid mistakes that leads to losing points and he is still playing every game. Yes he has energy and power but it is useless without a brain. Westbrom with TP was playing ugly football but they were collecting more points, they have better performance now even against Stoke they had a good performance but they are not collecting points anymore, they didn't win any games since Alan Pardew. They haven't won a game since August mate. Pardew has inherited a total shambles. I agree they have too many average and below average players, if we are comparing them with Stoke so Stoke has legends, they have a chance to stay in PL if they can buy a striker, left winger and right back. I admit they are improving with Pardew, and he is unlucky to start with them against Tottenham, Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal.

I still wouldn't have played Allen yesterday mind.

Still, I agree, it was right to rest Allen yesterday.

At least he'd have injected a bit of energy into the statues that masqueraded as our central midfield yesterday. And he's one of the fitter blokes who could have got back up for tomorrow. Rest them in the Coventry game ffs.

Clyde we are fuckin embarrassment to the profession as our so called professionals don’t give a shit about the shirt nor us fans!
How we give up is just a disgrace but keeps happening to much now it’s pathetic.
Hughes Out

Every point now is bloody vital. We certainly aren’t in a position to just give them away.

Sparky did have Joe Allen warming up on the touchline yesterday which would imply we weren't afraid of sending him on. Unless he was just cold of course!

How ironic Wenger accusing the ref of awarding a penalty saying the ref didn’t see it. Had it been the other way Wenger wouldn’t have seen it either.

Interesting game
Wba are still fighting and they are not down yet
Only stoke are conceding over two goals per game
I hope I am wrong but I can stoke finishing bottom of the league
If we carry on conceding at over two goals per game , we have to come bottom surely ?

What Wenger and Arsenal fans have to remember is that WBA were denied a penalty for a clear foul on Rodrigez in the fixture at the Emirates early this season. What goes around comes around.

Interesting game Wba are still fighting and they are not down yet Only stoke are conceding over two goals per game I hope I am wrong but I can stoke finishing bottom of the league If we carry on conceding at over two goals per game , we have to come bottom surely ? That depends on how many we score and whether those goals against are due mainly from thrashings by the top six teams. I know we let in 7 against Man City, but we're not the only club to ship a shedload against them even if we've conceded the most. Of the goals scored against us, 9 have been scored by Chelsea, 7 by Man City, and 5 by Spurs. That accounts for 21 of the 46 goals we've let in. Leave those 4 games out and our average goals against per game is 1.47. OS.

There is no place for facts or sense on the oatcake please don't do it again We are terrible at times and very inconsistent but there is not a hope in hell we are going down, there are too many teams even worse, the amount of money Hughes spends in January will tell us how insecure his longer term future is but any change will happen at the end of the season, unless we are adrift in March which I just don't see. The sooner people accept this the happier they will be.
