For players to play for the shirt and the supporters.
Presumably he'll start by doing this very basic thing himself?

I have watched him much more closely after his comments pre season an I am sorry but i disagree with you.The Shaqiri from this season is far more passionate and playing for the shirt than i have ever seen.

I think he is our only hope tbh
If he fires we stay up, if he doesn't we ain't got a chance cause there is no-one else. Arnie carried us last season, we need similar this.

We would be bottom of the league without him this season.

I think Allen has been our best and most consistent player but Shaq has also played well but is inconsistent. He always a threat going forward and is our one player that can make something out of nothing.

We would be bottom of the league without him this season. That's why Johnno hates him if he did it every single week we'd be in the top 7. So despite the fact he's contributed more than anyone else he's one of the 3 biggest twats in our squad. You couldn't make it up could you.

He is one of the players who is showing the fight. He is also the one who even if he is having a bad game can still produce something. A bit of magic, a free kick or whatever. I just cannot understand the logic of removing a player like that from the field two thirds into a game. I have been disappointed with him in the past but feel like he has shown for the shirt this season.

I don't hate Shaqiri at all and recognise he's our most talented player by some distance. My comment to davef above was a joke hence he himself liked it. I just find it a bit ironic really that him, of all people, can call for pride and passion given that he shows very little himself. Let's hope he practices what he preaches and helps win us the game tomorrow.

He's so influential that Sparky rests him for "pointless" games like Chelsea away.

The crowd will turn if we are losing or not winning by half time - passion will turn to anger then apathy with players then Hughes will have to run the gauntlet

He looks pretty passionate to me when he's trying to drag his teammates up the pitch with him but that's not what you want is it you want him to roll his sleeves up and get stuck in digging trenches at the Alamo. If that's all this team is set up to do best to leave him out and let him bugger off.

If wimmer plays a defeat is on the cards, he is useless at the basics of heading the ball, passing the ball, tackling and tracking his marker, in other words he is toss at everything, an 18millin turd and I'm sure a turd has more to offer?

Think PC is hoping that if we can continue in this cycle we're in, draw or beat our fellow strugglers, Nick the odd point from mid-table teams and get dicked by the top six then we'll scrape over the line? It really is bollocks to the punters though - bailing out of yesterday's game was a right kick in nuts in my book.

I was critical of his last season, I didn't think he did enough. This season, in most games, he has given everything and kept going. Much, much better and added with his ability he has been arguably our best player.

I'd like to see him get stuck in a bit more and to stop chucking himself to the ground as much. Also I'd like to see an end to his arm flinging everytime a decision doesn't go his way.
In short (ahem), he's a talented player (when he shows up)but I'd take Joe Alan over him any day.
