He'd walk into our midfield with his eyes closed. I'd walk over coals to get him in there too. It's only impressive if they are hot coals

Come on pal you've taken my quote here and turned it to suit your own agenda, where in that statement did I say he was shit? He's a massive cunt and I stand by my statement, however if you're going to quote someone make sure you get your facts straight before making a dick of yourself. I like how barely anyone has agreed with you anyway. Thread on its arse. You'd do alright working at the Sun.

He's a dirty, horrible, scroat of a man. That being said when hes at his best he is fantastic. This last month he has been Arsenals stand out player and he was by far the best player on the pitch against palarse last night.
Let's see how he goes for the rest of the season but I reckon he's only playing because his Arsenal future is in doubt if he gets a new deal he is likely to go back to being run of the mill.

He could be so good but just isn't.
That said if he's playing regular for Arsenal he should be in the England side ahead of Henderson.
We could do with Chalobah getting fit too. Henderson in the squad is horrible.

The man is a wanker, that needs violently beating with a shitty stick. On his day he can play, the best in league my arse tho. His injury list makes Darren Anderton look like mr. Reliable. It breaks your will to live to hear the talk sport host s banding his name about and saying he deserves to be in the team next June

He is better than any midfielder here at the moment (except for maybe Allen), but I wouldn't have him here, no way.
A huge part of the problem at Stoke at the moment is that there are two many individuals who are seemingly egotistical, self-interested, disconnected from the fans and each other and seemingly come across as dickheads, quite frankly.
One can only assume that this issue would be further exacerbated with the hypothetical signing of the single biggest dickhead in world football.

Talented but frustrating. The nature of English football has stifled his development. Apparently Mourinho wanted him when he managed Real Madrid. If that had all happened he'd be a much better all rounder now.
However what sort of sums it all up is he had the chance to go Milan for a season but chose Bournemouth because it's closer to home. Typically narrow minded English footballer.

Apologies if that has offended you. I didn't name the source of the quote as that didn't seem appropriate and its not about being personal You gave an opinion and I didn't make a comment on it. I used it as an example of views that are in the public domain about Wilshire. Maybe it wasn't the best quote to use? Fair enough! I simply asked a question. I'm not quite sure what facts are you referring to? I'm not interested in people agreeing with me, actually there is nothing to agree with!!!! The point of the thread was to establish whether views on Wilshire's footballing ability had changed which seems reasonable for a football forum.

He would massively improve our midfield (when fit) and anyone who thinks otherwise is basing their assessment on him as an individual and not a player.
Personally, I think he has too much baggage etc, and wouldn’t want to see him in a Stoke shirt, but he’s far from crap.

He's a fantastic footballplayer, but he doesn't strike me as particular bright on or off the pitch. Throws himself needlessly into tackles he can't win and is always up for a verbal fight. But if Arsenal don't offer him a contract and he becomes available on a free we should sign him. All the antagonism he'll face on his home debut won't faze him and we'll all come round to him once we see the kind of passes he'll make for us. Oh well we can't afford his personal terms so it won't happen.

Still my most hated player of all time, ever. Woman beating, calcium deficient, arrogant little fucking wanker, I’d love to be a professional footballer for 10 minutes just so I could two foot him. Given the nature of some of your posts,I'm not sure if this means you'd go through the back of him on the pitch or it's yet another bizarrely painful sexual practice you'd subject him to in the team bath.... 😉😁

Never done really anything for me, and that's including for England. Not sure he's the right sort of influence in sides either. Yep would probably really help our current midfield, but is probably happy plodding around in and around the 1st team at the Arse. Will leave the game and become a 1/3 rate pundit.

How would anyone have possibly known that it is you who made this quote if you hadn't have highlighted the fact? If I had have put your name to the quote I could understand it to some extent, though even then on a public forum people reference other people's quotes all the time and question them. that is the nature of a public forum with opinions about any subject. You called me a dick, which you are entitled to do, but how is that not an attempt to belittle someone? You cant have it both ways? Its fair enough to challenge the notion that the quote is not addressing the thread, but I cant get the notion that this is in anyway publicly humiliating anyone when there is no name attributed to the quote and you did in fact make this comment in relation to the player as you have subsequently pointed out. Again, apologies for any offence caused.

Again, apologies for any offence caused. Regardless of you posting my name next to it, your objective was to belittle. You've used a quote that comments on someone's personality to fit your 'is Wilshere still crap' motive. There was plenty of other quotes saying he was shite but you used mine commenting on what I think about him as a person. I don't mind having the piss taken out of me or used as an example, at least get your facts straight when you do it though, as another poster has pointed out the original quote doesn't comment on his talent. Take for instance your Sterling post, no quote there, but for Wilshere you've decided to use something completely irrelevant. As I said I don't care about having the piss taken out of me, it was so noble and gracious of you to not post my name but as you can probably tell I would have kicked off anyway. You've dropped a bollock basing a entire thread on someone's talent against a quote refering to someone's personality, you've been called out on it and now you're back tracking saying I don't like being humiliated. Good effort youth.

He’s the absolute weak link in this Arsenal team today that’s for sure! Slows the play down and goes backwards every time he’s on the ball. Arsenal opposite.
