You probably still think it would be utterly ridiculous to consider LB/LWB to be a natural position for Fabian Delph as well. Funny how you learn to ride a bike as a kid and you can not ride one for years yet you can still get on a bike and ride without any problem at all. I'd want him in midfield for us. Me too give me the option of replacing Fletcher or Pieters no matter what people say about him (often fairly) I'd choose to replace Fletcher everytime. I'd still prefer William Carvalho or similar bit more physical presence.

He looked good at Fulham and he looked good in the Champions League last season However not so impressive this season in Europe. Presumably that's why he's no longer being linked with the top six. £20m and relatively low wages, definitely a gamble rather than a nailed on scorer however as gambles go he looks decent. As posted earlier if you want a nailed on regular goalscorer at this level start at £50M and work your way up. Your usual fake news £27 million Gabriel Jesus? Do you want some more

How do they know who we were watching? It might be a cut price deal for right back James Tavernier for all we know...

Why don't we just let him go somewhere else, do well, then watch them sell him on for massive profit whilst scratching heads in the boardroom.

Yeah let's just ignore the fact we're shit in midfield & defence. We've got Berahino ffs

At £20m he is worth it in today's market, his stock has fallen this season. Some say he just needs a fresh challenge away from Scotland. If he was hitting last seasons heights he would be off to a top 6 club. I'd definitely like hm at Stoke, notwithstanding our other frailties in CM and FB. Certainly appeals more than Sturridge or Ings a much better fit in my opinion.

He’ll end up at a team that don’t need him or West Ham.

Since when have we been known as the trotters? 🤔 Throwing pork pies onto the pitch was the root cause, or will be.

He’s one of the most exciting strikers around. Comparisons with Berahino, whose career was dying a slow, painful death 12 months before we signed him, are laughable.

He won't score anymore than Berahino given the same time he's had on the pitch since he's been fit & the service he gets, neither would aguero

Same rule applies mate, Berahino is proven in the Prem with good service. Tony Pulis seriously shafted him and as a consequence he’s only just got to an acceptable fitness level in combination with his personal issues. You could put the most gifted finisher in the world in our team and he still wouldn’t score goals. Bera isn’t a player who’s going to create chances for himself like Ricardo Fuller.
