Well all the “let’s have a pop at Arnie” went well. Didn’t motivate him at all did it? Did you really expect the fans to see it any other way? I see the argument for ignoring him, but it was never going to happen. People are angry and rightly so, he's a spoilt child. Attention seeker, fancies himself as this big gang dude. So what Arnie? Are you the only person in the world who was brought up in a rough neighbourhood? Don't care what motivated him, I'm just glad he knows he has no friends here. At some point in his life he'll grow up...... He did what most of us would do in the circumstances. And the reaction of the “fans” demonstrates the victim mentality that sums up Just why the Potteries has gone down the gurgler in the last 20-odd years

Moyes went straight into Arnie after his celebration. I said to my mate his number was on the subs board before we even kicked back off.

You think football fans were better and would have held back in the 70’s and 80’s? If you do, you either weren’t there or you have a serious case of rose tinted glasses. I remember Lee Dixon coming back to Stoke as an Arsenal player in 1990. He was berated all through the game. It’s nothing new this.

Wasn't at the game as opted to go on Xmas piss up with mates. Did any players try to hurt Arnie? Wimmer rolled out a red carpet for him.... No one got near. Like literally, no one went anywhere near him. Fuckin wish Huth (Huth of old) had have been there in place of Wimmer!!!

Shame we don't get that same passion reflected in his team's somnambulant performances of late.

Even if we did kick shit out of him, he'd probably handle himself pretty well against any of our players in a brawl. That's the sad truth. Arnie bullied and probed all night and from an opposing fans' viewpoint, he looked class. For some reason I thought we didn't miss him much until last night, then you quickly realise just how good he was for us. Above everything else, his passion and work rate (even against Arsenal and Chelsea) stands out. My favourite player when he was here. When he left I thought "fuck him"... Yesterday reminded me of what we lost.

“Obviously we played very well. The only thing Stoke had was the long ball.
"They are a threat with the long ball, but our back five did very, very well.

“Obviously we played very well. The only thing Stoke had was the long ball. "They are a threat with the long ball, but our back five did very, very well. I think he's been very generous there. Closer to the truth would have been: "The fact that Crouch started, tells me how much Stoke have regressed. They play aimless punts towards him and just hope something drops, a percentages game. They had no game plan. We didn't have to work very hard, and to be honest, we are disappointed we didn't win by more".

Let's be honest, it's a complete embarrassment. Actions count, not words. Both Hughes and Ryan should hang their head in shame for having given him a bit of verbal when he came off, but having given him the easiest ride going throughout the game. He should have been put into the stand in the first minute, and kicked up in the air whenever he received the ball. We're just a powder-puff outfit nowadays, typified by players like Wimmer and Shaqiri. But come on, you just know if someone had put their size elevens through him we'd be down to ten men as soon as the ref could wrestle the red card away from his semi-on.

He had acres of space wherever he went. Wimmer was shit scared of him and Pieters put him through with a header. He must have thought it was his birthday and Christmas all rolled into one? Totally fucking embarrassing - heaven knows what nice pressie we've got wrapped up for West Brom on Saturday?

What exactly do you know about what goes on behind the scenes at Stoke? By the way we play it would suggest the manager couldn't motivate himself to get out of bed. So that would be nothing then? However your keen powers of deduction enable you to make conclusive statements of fact? Hmmm, i’m Starting to understand why anyone would choose a username like yours.

Seeing the twat coming out with shit like that makes it even more galling because he's right. How somebody didn't pencil him I'll never know.
