Allen was shite yesterday. He worked hard but most of that work he created with his shite first touch and worse passing. It was a proper Dean Whitehead performance. Win the ball, lose the ball, win it again. Just pointless. How can it be pointless when most of his teammates can't even be bothered to try to win it in the first place. As I've posted above frustrating but still a beacon in an otherwise complete bag of wank. Because it helps no one.

I wish he was in Cameron's position for the first goal and Tymon's position for the second I can all but guarantee you they wouldn't have scored on either occasion. A long way off perfect but anything is better than being a jelly and we've got a lot of jelly.

It makes for very, very grim viewing. Every single chance arnie had came from his just drifting off the back of wimmer. Jesus christ...it was even more horrible than being there. If Arnie was the player he thinks he is we would have lost 6 or 7-0

Still pissed off we have Arnie such an easy ride, not one meaningful tackle was even attempted on him.
It was also frustrating when at 3-0 they were wasting time in the corner. Sakho jisy kept taking the piss and kicking it against us and winning more corners. Why didn’t someone go through him? Look at Ashley Young in the Manchertse derby when Sterling was doing exactly the same thing. Our players really are soft as shit.

He was part of the problem.

Players make mistakes all the time for instance Shawcross has probably made as many as Pieters, you can't concentrate on every mistake you have to focus on the ones that cost you.

The central midfield is the biggest issue we have. Any defence will struggle with how often we have players running at our defence, usually after they've built up a head of steam with 20/30 yards of being unchallenged. There is a void in front of the defence where most issues we have imo defensively come from the midfield.

Yes its a massive issue I appreciate that but you simply can legislate for full backs being in a position to do so but failing to try to win the ball or make the foul and take their card. We're too fucking nice and its something that's too wide spread to be a coincidence the players must be discouraged from making cynical fouls and that's naive.

Haven't got a clue about what happened for the third I left in disgust when the second went in but if you look at what I've written in analysing what cost us it makes perfect sense that we do the same in other areas of the pitch.

As I've said I think the midfield is the biggest problem and causes the defence to be exposed. But if you're reluctant to make cynical tackles in one area of the pitch it makes sense that you do so in others too. It's no use trying to deflect the issue those two players in the lead up to the first 2 goals were there to be bought down both in fairly unthreatening areas to concede a free kick. What happens down there when they "take one for the team" a coroners inquest or a pat on the back?

I watched the highlights at midnight last night. Truly abysmal.

I’ve watched it again and the over riding impressions were that West Ham (like most of our opponents) move up and down the field at 10 times the pace we do and their first touch in crucial areas was infinitely better. We appear to lack fitness, finesse and good old fashioned nous. You're absolutely spot on!

I was there and just watched MOTD - an absolute horror show, pants direct to the washing machine time.
