I've wanted Hughes gone for a solid year but however shit we have been this season we are only a two game swing away from top 10. We won't see the back of Hughes until the gap widens. Too many shit teams around us at the moment, more than half the division. For the investment the board have already made Im starting to worry they think Hughes is worth the gamble this season come what may.

The problem is the so called shit teams are getting better, and we are going the opposite way. Up until yesterday I couldn't quite get myself to believe we are going down, but the display yesterday against a pretty shit West Ham side has changed my mind. We are doomed I tell you, doomed.

We're one of the shit teams. My point is if there are shit teams placed 9th currently why should the board rush to sack Hughes now they are in deep with his playing staff.

If those clowns still think Hughes is worth a gamble then Bet365 will soon go down the shitter.

Because we are in a very bad downward spiral. It's not even as though we're playing okay and not getting the breaks. 17 shots yesterday and not one on target. That's a damning statistic that shows we are struggling. We never even tested their keeper yesterday which against a side that was second bottom is fucking woeful

In theory yes.
However after watching another 90 mins of us collapsing, our third defeat in 7 days by the way at a collective score of 9-1, can you see us making up that gap? Or widening it?

Just saying I think the division is too tight for the board to pull the trigger at this point. If our form continues and we get cut adrift he will go. Until then the board will roll the dice game by game. It can all change in a week as it has for Arnoutovic and West Ham.

The issue is, it hasn’t just been this season, the downfall is the past couple of years now coming to fruition. We can’t pin all of our hopes of staying up on everyone else around us being even more wank than we are, which isn’t even the case, I would only put Swansea and maybe Brighton below us, even though Brighton’s defence looks a million times better than ours. The opening post of this threads just screams out the total lack of ambition coming from our club at the moment

Coates needs to take notice of this before it really is too late. The warning signs are there with big flashing beacons, we need both a new man in to take us into the January window and the coates' to be prepared to splash out in the January window. The next 6 weeks are massive

You are right though, the whole club is set up for survival and nothing more, purely being run as a business. That's what it means to be established in the Prem.

We're a million miles off. The only comfort for me is that if the board acted now we stand a good chance of staying up.
I feel so bloody down about the club at the moment. It's rotten.

Yes the board's ambition is the problem and the reason we haven't seen a change already. 41 PTS from 42 games now. Piss poor

We are a million miles away from stringing 6 points together. This is exactly the issue. Burnley away yes unlucky but that aside we haven’t got the bottle desire fight or gumption to bear the likes of West Ham West Brom or probably Newcastle. We are deep in the shit and, whilst before you’d think that we’ve easier games coming up, nothing seems winnable right now.

It was 1 point and 6 from relegation places. Then it went to 3 and 3. Now it is 6 from 9th and a pubes width from the bottom 3.
Within that time we have been completely and utterly wank. The best we can come up with is to "huff and puff to a certain extent".
Its a total fuck up and we're now in panic mode changing game to game and expecting (hoping) it will work.
For all the good he has done since he joined, its time he fucked off

First of all, I don’t think we have had back to back premiere league wins for over a year... second of all, if we did the impossible and got 6 points, we wouldn’t be in 9th place more likely 10th - 15th as other teams have to play.
If we’re throwing stuff like this about, if Swansea win on Monday and West Brom win today, we will be in the bottom 3 and just 1 point off the bottom of the table !!!

6 points might as well be 60 points when you are on the run we are on and leak goals at the rate we do, god knows where we will get 6 points from when we have just lost to 2 out of the bottom 3 sides!
