I actually think he'd be an excellent appointment. Even if we got relegated I'd be confident he could rebuild us and bring players through.

His nose I mean. Well we know what a big nose is often a sign of.... Seriously, this would be a good place for him to prove himself, he def has the talent as well as the weak spots but I'd take the chance.

Nah we don't want Kammy back

Perhaps he's got bored of thrapping League 2-standard teams 5-0. If he kept this Stoke side up it would look better on his CV than a title they've won by default. I disagree. He's got the opportunity to improve his side's performance in European competitions and that would look far better on a c.v. than getting Stoke to finish above 17th place. Much more fun for him as well, I'd imagine. He wouldn't come if the limit of our ambition was to finish around 17th. Surely he'd only come here if there was a 'project' in place to try and crack top 8 and have a go at the cups- just like Southampton. For such reasons, I doubt he'd come here under the current owners but surely he has more ambition than beating Ross County 5-0 one week and then being thumped by Anderlecht the next.

Think Brendan will need an appointment like stoke to prove himself in the PL as I don't see any top 8 club coming in for him. Keeps stoke up and gets a good run in the PL which we haven't had for a while his chances of landing a top club will improve. Still don't think Celtic is seen as a club that can be compared to the PL. I would love him here because I think he will interject a belief on the squad which is drastically needed.

The chance to come back to the premier league? Louis Moult is going from Motherwell to Preston as even the championship is a step-up from the SPL.

Of course, I wouldn't rule out a move for Tuchel after all of those stories in the German press over the summer. LinkThanks for the link, it may be old but its the only thing I've laughed at all day. Phillip 'the world's slowest man' Wollscheid... Glen Johnson retired two years ago....Stoke on Trent a place of high culture and big testicles.... No chance of Brendan Rodgers, maybe Paul Rodgers and then we'll be Alright Now
