As Jeremy so aptly put it just now in the House, 'this is a Government that has 'no mandate, no morals and no majority'

As Jeremy so aptly put it just now in the House, 'this is a Government that has 'no mandate, no morals and no majority' So why is he running from a general election? And no it’s not because he’s scared Boris will arrange it for after 31 Oct so that he can get brexit across the line.

The last I heard, he's trying to convince the other opposition parties that there is a mechanism to hold him to a pre 31st election during a dissolved Parliament. Do your trust Johnson and Cummings?

The last I heard, he's trying to convince the other opposition parties that there is a mechanism to hold him to a pre 31st election during a dissolved Parliament. Do your trust Johnson and Cummings? We can’t hold a GE without labours buy in (2/3 of MPs). So why can’t Corbyn use this as leverage to hold the GE in 6 weeks time? Takes us up to mid October and provides 2 weeks for Corbyn to stop no deal or have an extension/whatever he wants. Clearly Corbyn isn’t confident he will win. So my question is: how can the leader of the opposition not be confident of winning against an extremely weak Boris Johnson with “no mandate and no majority”? He’s been pushing for an election for a long time he should be chomping at the bit to have a go at Johnson.

Firstly it is conceivable that the Executive i.e. Johnson could change the date of an election after dissolution dependant on what the bill says tomorrow or Thursday. Secondly, why play Cummings game? Johnson and Cummings think they're the two cleverest boys in school but they may have got this one wrong. Johnson wont ask for an extension so why not call their bluff and either make him break the law or resign?

The problem is quite a few folk in his party don’t share his confidence. As they are typically remainders they want to see Brexit delayed before an election takes place.

Have we heard anything on the Irish Border post October 31st yet? No he was asked about food shortages, medication shortages and his proposals to replace the backstop and he made a joke about Caracas sounding like crackers and a lame shit or bust pun. The country is going to hell in a hand cart and we have a dreadful vaudevillian comedian at the helm Fuck me.

Bercow really needs to get out of his chair. Walk up to Savid, and give him a swift backhand slap across the face.
