Labour are absolutely dead in the water unless they ditch Corbynski and his loony comrades Abbacus and McDonut.

The last poll had the two parties dead level, that's whay the cowardly Tories daren't do the right thing and call an election. Frit. It would be so bad for the country to call an election now. And why on earth would they. YouGuv had 41 Conservative 34 Labour. Any opposition worth their salt would be hammering the Tories. But Comrade Jez is UNELECTABLE. Again your point makes no sense. Bar fucking up Brexit this Government is just existing, getting nothing done and virtually everything they do touch turns to shit. The Parliamentary stupor needs breaking. The proper thing would be an election. There have been outliers but the below is the picture. Neck and neck. Do the Tories have the balls or are they frit?

I'd hardly say Jan 15th is the latest. Corbynski's flip flopping and fence sitting is costing him big time. Loyal supporters are increasingly dismayed, with talk of a breakaway party.

Interesting isnt it no accusations of bad faith, ulterior motives or lying yet a jewish labour mp says something and you get all of these plus death threats for her. Now I have no reason to doubt either of them although hard to really square a party as bring infested with islamphobia when the home secretary who is a muslim is one of the favourites to be the next pm. Not to say there isnt racist twats in the tory party and everywhere the big difference is they kick them within hours while Labour spend years trying not to kick them out. The other big difference why its not covered so widely in the papers is that there is no direct links to the PM or senior tories with labour everything leads backs to good old racist grandpa Jezza. Mmmm I'd certainly put up Jezza's voting record on anti-Semitic issues against some Tories. Then again some people on the right only really started worrying about anti-Semitism in around 2015! Whilst we're at it if we are to take the Tory approach of tarring a whole movement on the actions of a few, are we to conclude that the Tory party now exists of perverts who like to film up young girls skirts and approve of mutilating children's genitals? Easy this isn't it?! People on the left have been worrying about it for a lot longer .

A party never gets anywhere ner 50% in the polls, not Blair at his most poular and the Tories in a mess and not Thatcher over Foot. Labour should be in the lead absolutely no doubt. They should be looking at around 44% in my view but when you factor in that 95-98% of UK media is outright antagonistic and hostile to Corbyn then you see the difficulties. When you get the parity of coverage an Election demands then you will see what you saw in 2017 and it is clearly scaring the shit out of those at Central Office.

Ipsos Maori was the last poll on 7th Feb "Ipsos MORI‘s topline figures are CON 38%(nc), LAB 38%(nc), LDEM 10%(+1), UKIP 4%(nc). Fieldwork was between Friday and Tuesday (1st-5th), and changes are from MORI’s last poll back in December."

He simply isn't the electorally toxic character than the hard right media in this country would have you believe and that's what's scaring the Tory's to death.

Simple truth is with him at the helm LABOUR WILL NEVER WIN AN ELECTION. They were 0.1% of a swing away from winning just 18 months ago. They're still nudging 40% in the polls. It wouldn't even begin to constitute a shock if he won. It's not really much of a surprise either is it when this is the "calibre" of the Government. www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/chris-graylings-catalogue-failure-13-13978573

Key difference matt, that You Gov Poll was at the end of the General Election campaign and statistically Survation were the most accurate pollsters with three polls giving Tories just a 1% in the final week. Unfortunately for you Corbyn is going nowhere and still has mass support in the rank and file. Now the Tories will have a new candidate unless a snap election is called in the next few months now lets see the runners and riders there. The Victorian ghost, Mogg. The overestimated oaf, Johnson Bring it on I say! He will have a Blair like majority. Anyway lets stay on topic, this thread is about the most shambolic Government in history. Here's today's entry. A whole discredited Economic policy and a discredited and laughed at Chancellor. www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/brexit-philip-hammond-deficit-no-credibility-deal-dividend-treasury-committee-a8774361.htmlWell it would be funny if the cruelty of austerity hadn't been an act of Tory viciousness with no economic credibility whatsoever.

This police numbers stuff is just nonsense. It's a legacy of your old pal Tony Blair. Blair, of course was high on rhetoric and low on policy. One example being "Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime". Because he had no idea what that meant in reality and what he should, do, he decided to embark on a massive recruitment drive into the police force at the same time as crime (generally) was falling. Since then, numbers have been falling to bring it into line with what had been seen as an acceptable level of employment before Blair's interjection.
