The thing is we haven’t been taking 3000 to the Etihad have we? Granted, a good number of games have been midweek ones, but we haven’t been taking the numbers there to justify them giving us that amount of tickets. It's the first Saturday game at the £30 price though Dave. Man City, like up the road at ManUre was always around £42-£45 up until then so this is the first Saturday 15:00 kick off at a cheaper price. Whether we'd have sold the whole 3,000 is maybe up for debate but judging by the amount of people I know who've missed the boat on this one I don't think we'd have been far off.... Fair enough.

1500 tickets for a Saturday 3pm kick off, with a good day out in Manchester is a joke.
Sounds like there is going be quite a few stokies in the home end including myself.
Have the GMP had a say in this allocation? Surely stokies scattered around the home ends creates a bigger risk than having a larger official allocation.

The ticket office manager confirmed on Twitter they took the smaller allocation due to historically never taking big numbers to this fixture. I don’t know who it is who has he final say on what allocation we take but they’ve ballsed up on this one. This was always going to be a popular one due to the price cap and it being 3pm on a Saturday.

Stoke are entitled to the full allocation and have chosen the smaller one so any unsold tickets would not have to be payed for It's penny pinching and they have seriously underestimated how many people would want to go with a Saturday 3pm ko at £30 Shambolic really

There's a few of us who've managed to get tickets in their end. We'll be respectful but will probably get found out. Oh well...

It looked like we has more than 1500 at Newcastle . Seems an odd decision given the ko time and no live TV coverage

Shall we do a Cologne vs Arsenal and just take loads. See how we'd get treated in similar circumstances. (it is a joke before anyone thinks I'm serious) Its not funny though is tom mate We all know how GMP would treat us in the same circumstances
