If it was us mere mortals we would be going to prison You do not go to prison for three times over. You can! Options include either an unlimited fine or 6 months in prison as well as a minimum 12 months ban.

Exactly the kind of creature you'd expect to be slithering round a footballer. Looks like a fucking alien.

Would be a great plan if he killed someone on the way there......... Unlikely at 2 in the morning. Wonder what the Everton make of it. Feck me we've bought a piss artist, can we get our money back?

I'd rattle Coleen I would, she's a proper chav, so she could probably suck a fridge freezer through a letterbox.

So probably 6 pints. What kind of idiot drives having drunk 6 pints!!!! Reactions would be so impaired he could easily kill someone. I mean this seriously - he should be jailed for that. He is a danger to society Saido berahino?? Also has difficulty living the lifestyle required to pass a standard drugs test for a footballer I'd have no problem with jailing drunk drivers. It's only thanks to luck that they don't kill people this time. A fine and a ban clearly mean naff all to Rooney or he wouldn't do it. The risk of killing someone doesn't get his attention. Maybe threat of jail would. And yeah, I'd do the same for Berahino and and any other drink driver

He's probably being doing this for years, but this time someone shopped him and he's been nabbed. Money, sex, fame, girls, booze, drugs. The lifestyle and antics of a rich, successful professional footballer. Not all of course. But Stoke had a fair share of high rollers in the seventies who would have made Rooney blush. ☺

Got to love the moral high ground stance people are taking on this thread. He got caught 3 times over, thats equivalent to around 6 pints, u never done it youself? Good for u if u havent give yourselves a pat on the back ffs. Its gone from being something that was acceptable in the 80s and 90s (look at only fools and horses for example) to something un excusable nowadays. Yes I have been caught before but fuck me some of you make out like it should be a death sentence. Drink does silly things and when u have your car keys on you it tends to make things worse for u.

Tell that to the families of victims of people who have been killed by drunk drivers. It's a fucking stupid thing to do. You say it makes things worse for you being drunk and having your car keys on you? I'd say the poor sod who you could have smashed into would have had it worse

Its no different to me but 3 points for those offences is fine to some people. End of the day its a mistake and yes it could of led to a serious accident to some innocent person but so can using your phone, using your sat nav or even just changing your radio station

Got to love the complete stupidity stance some people are taking on this thread. Driving over the limit is a selfish, pathetic thing to do, you aren't just risking your own life, but also the life's other other innocent people who have nothing to do with your need to drive somewhere after a drink. Of course it's not only inexcusable, it's vile. What legit excuse is there for doing it? Honest to god mate, if you had your life effected by someone driving over the limit, you really would have a different point of view. And you mention death sentence, that's not what you get for drink driving, but you could very easily dish a death sentence out, ask Luke Mccormick.

But staring at a sat nav whilst driving - you could run down a whole queue of people waiting for a bus.

Drink driving is a silly thi g to do that can possibly have deadly consequences but.... people need to have some perspective about it. Throwing away Rooneys key for it is just ridiculous!
