Listening to the radio earlier and what should come within earshot but Jonny Mathis. Suddenly memories came flooding back of being dragged to the cinema by my ex to see him warble his way through a godawful film while pretending to enjoy the experience. There are other branches of the musical arts that don't quite hit the spot but scarred for life springs to mind in the case of Mathis.

Happily, very eclectic with my tastes and find a lot of pleasure in all genres.
However, Bob Dylan can fuck right off.

The vast majority of the complete and utter shit young people listen to today. Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, etc etc.
I blame the Spice Girls and N Sync as they were among the first manufactured groups of the internet age. No musical talent, cheesy songs, marketing over substance.
The 80s were a glorious music era. Probably the last good year for music was 1992 or so. That's not to say that there haven't been good songs or good artists since then, but they are rare exceptions.

Something to do with underage groupies in the 70's... Meh, will be nothing compared to Iggy's antics at the time. Bowie was a legend, end of.

Parents putting kids in designer gear(inc Baby RayBans)& subjecting their children to pop music, rather than education & activity. I'd not even heard of Stormsey till some wannabe mum started banging on about him. I've still not heard anything by him.
