Used to spend quite a bit of time in The Cottage back in the day, although I guess your local would be the Oak Tree. Was gutted when they felled that mighty Oak ages ago.

I'm not from the area, not from Britain for that matter, so I'm unfamiliar with the housing market.
Is the Stoke-on-Trent area one of the most affordable real estate markets? £92,000 sounds like a steal based on the description and pictures. I knew the area is much more affordable than London and other places down south, but this is even lower than I would have thought.

That's an attractive terraced house with some architectural details you don't normally see on many terraced houses in this area. It's also nicely refurbished inside. Two or three years ago it would have fetched in the upper 70s or lower 80s.
The average house price in S-o-T is £128,000 which is significantly lower than the national average (May 2017) of £221,000. However, that figure is low because of the larger proportion of terraces and semi-detached houses in Stoke. The average price for a detached house in Stoke is £207,000. Move out to places like Endon, Cheddleton, Madeley and Buddulph and prices go up another 20% or so.

I think it will sell quickly if you'll take a little under £90K. Are you moving to a bigger place?

Nicely presented house, nice brickwork design. I use rightmove frequently and it does my head in when there is no floor plan. There is no floor plan on this house, is that down to estates agents not bothered or sellers not requesting it? I'm putting my house for sale soon and want to know if I have to insist on a floor plan for my property.

Thanks I'll find an estate agent who do include a floor plan as I think it's an important part of the advertisement. Now it's weighting up using online or high street estate agent????
Hope your sale and move go well for you.

I'm putting my house for sale soon and want to know if I have to insist on a floor plan for my property. Have just found out from the wife that we would've had to pay £120 for the floorplan. With it being a terraced house didn't think it was necessary

Wow £120. Not surprised when I think about it. Companies advertise a cheap rate but then add on loads of extras on.

Are we selling houses on the Oatcake now? Used to live in Regent Street years ago West End...know Oakhill very well. Mostly owner occupiers which means the houses are looked after & the neighbours won't burgle you. And your car will still be there in the morning. Why not? Thought it was perhaps of interest to a Stoke fan being so handily placed.

My Nan and Granddad lived on Regent's Street for decades. Number 6, the first of the semis on the right just past that block of three or four terraced.

Looks a stunner Clive, i am in the process of looking to buy, if you could hang on for 6 months i would be interested. Mother would have to view it and then Aunt Maureen. What are your neighbours like, i would not want to reside next to rotters

They had a very expansive cellar which unfortunately I never got the chance to see.
