Great to watch. I assume his rumoured move to one of the big European players never got off the ground which is a shame. Its insane he is overlooked by France. Simply baffling actually! I've been saying this since he was at Stoke,I don't care what the manager thinks but they don't have a better midfielder who plays for the Frenchies, it's ludicrous that he never gets in their squad!

That's a player who actually left us for 'more ambition'.

He's a Better player than at arnautovic in most respects. He's a complete player and selling him didn't end us... and neither will selling arnie.

I remember when Allardyce wanted him to represent England. If only that had happened. Oh well, the Frenchs' loss.

Wasn't he that lazy twat with a very bad attitude? I'm sure I read something like that on here.... Some people never appreciate what they have until it's gone.A fact of life.

Not worthy of a separate thread so I'll mention it here. Sevilla played 2, won 2. Arsenal played 2, won 1, lost 1. Arsenal lift the Emirates cup on goals scored... 1 goal = 1 point. Just about sums up that club. How incredibly embarrassing

The Zonz was the rock on which the Hughes passing revolution was built, our trajectory has been mostly downwards since the great mans departure.

he was immense in his last season for us and in my opinion the sort of energy we have missed. Delph will be a good signing but not a patch on NZ. Since NZ left we have struggled

And when France already have the best defensive midfielder on the planet they dont need another central midfielder who might be better at defending than going forward.

How far up there own arses are that club, get beat, another team has a better record, so make up a bizarre way to claim the trophy.

He is very good. But that might be stretching it. In addition to the others mentioned; Matuidi, Kondogbia and Bakayoko are all quality. France have a stupid sellection of individual talent right now.

This is thing you see. For me Hudson was good, and probably the best (that I have seen) - but my father would have said someone else and his father would say someone else.

Howard Kendall was pretty good for a man at the end of his career. He could spot a man taking a run and pretty much pass it to him, at his feet, across the length of the pitch.
