3rd shirt revealed on official website. Think its better than blue 2nd shirt but still not too keen on the daft blue band. Not as nice as the 3rd that was used at Bournemouth the other year. Also think only available in xxxl at the moment as Shaq was modelling it! Cracking spot fella, can't believe no one else noticed or posted about it......

Could have made the "macron" emblem WHITE instead of placing it in a white box!!! Now you've pointed it out, that's incredibly annoying.

Half Admiral England circa '77, half rugby league.
Better than the blue for sure...

Is that top eleven thing on the replica shirts? You can buy them just like the premier league badges.

When you buy a shirt online and select the "premier league badge" option, do they also put the "top eleven" badge on the left sleeve?

It's interesting how our Vale rivalry has become insignificant to the extent the club seem much happier to consider white shirts. Stoke were wearing white away in 60's & 70's when Vale were low league nobodies, bit like today. Its not as if we wear kits in awe of great clubs like Don Revie's Leeds did by copying Real Madrid. Unless we respect small German club of the 70's Wuppertaller who wore red & white stripes with blue trim. (I had the subbuteo team as I thought Stoke would look good with the blue trim, though I actually preferred the mid 70's black trim and socks, sometimes worn away).

I'm aware of our history of wearing white change strips. That doesn't change the fact that for the majority of the last few decades - coinciding with the fiercest rivalry between Stoke and Vale - they have been avoided.

It's also good to note that for the first time since we were promoted we will be the only Premier League team playing in red and white stripes this season.

In 'The Potteries Derbies' by Jeff Kent it says the first ever Stoke Vale game, both teams turned up in white shirts, so Vale wore red sashes to tell them apart! Funny old world eh! ... mind that was when nogger was played by toffs who could afford the leisure time and the white shirts, and before the sky money...

Are the sizes still out by one this year or are they back to normal. So if I'm a large do I buy XL?

If I wanted to wear a layer underneath I'd need to go up another size. So it's pretty fitted. I have large Warrior and NB stuff and that fit was looser.

Just wish it didn't have a collar. I much prefer round-neck tops.
