It will be Pieters because he's not a very good footballer. He's suffered from the 'sign new contract, forget how to play football' illness that has affected others before him... Whilst his form has been considerably worse since the contract I always maintained he wasn't actually any good, we simply felt spoilt rotten because we had an actual left back for the first time in years.

He was terrible though in a good team his record, 3-16-15 goals. Ritchie was vastly superior! A good team?? They finished 11th and 18th in the two seasons that Chapman was the main strike and he scored 15 and 17 league goals those season. I think we'd be pretty happy if Berahino reached those figures in the next two seasons Yes I just looked it up and realised it was the earlier teams that were so good, but after Ritchie and Crooks, he was pretty average and most fans were not greatly impressed with his efforts.

Indeed.
I think the premise of the thread is a bit daft actually.
You could just as easily ask "which players that haven't been playing very well are likely to come in for a bit of stick?"
I guess I must have imagined that Whelan and Walters seemingly came in for more abuse than others but I don't think I did. Even when Whelan was arguably player of the season a couple of years back he wasn't immune from a diatribe from the usual suspects. You did imagine it. Now you're doing the same about another player, so you're being a hypocrite.

Bojan because he's small, foreign and doesn't have veins bursting out of his forehead.

It WILL be Berahino. Stoke fans love to slaughter a forward. The groundwork has already started. He has pretty much laid the foundations himself, no goals no assists in four months as a striker sort of sets the agenda.

wollshield if he stays know doubt about that Do you no this for sure? He was still a target when he was playing for Wolfsburg. They'll be foaming at the mouth if he's so much as training with the squad next season (toxic presence, disruption spirit of the squad etc etc).

It WILL be Berahino. Stoke fans love to slaughter a forward. I hope you don't prove to be right. Strikers more than any other position seem to be affected by their confidence...or lack of it. They really seem to need the encouragement /cheers even when they're having a dry spell.
