Ramadan will be better than Arnie and go on to achieve more in the game. He won't be angling for a move to West Ham at 28. I still can't believe this. West ham. It's absolutely ludicrous and in my opinion a massive mistake on his part. I'm not sure what part of it is a mistake, its just a sideways move, nothing will change for him really.

Are you completely pissed when you watch games or don't you watch them at all? Go on then bombard me with his premier league goal record , indeed then finish me off with career goal record in the equivalent of the Ryman south west league . im not saying he hadn't hit potential just that I wouldn't be betting £100m on it as far as goals are concerned Arnie has only had one decent season for us

I hoped he would have a really big season with us and then move on to a next level team. For me it's just money. I don't see any evidence that makes it certain west ham will have a better season than us. I just don't see the sense in it.

I'm just a hopeless romantic. He earns more than 3 times a week to what I do in a year. Like I say. I just don't get it but that's just me. Just thought he'd give us another year to really shine in a stoke shirt before moving.

The only issue is lack of pace. Could prove a big issue. He's not slow, same pace as Arnie

Ramadan will be better than Arnie and go on to achieve more in the game. He won't be angling for a move to West Ham at 28. Big call that. Really? How good was Arnie at Ramadan's age? Which one has the right attitude? Come on it's no contest. Arnie and Stoke have been good for each other but Ramadan looks like potentially a much better player. He's definitely ready right now to at least play and be a threat on a regular basis. Arnie scored four goals in the Premier League last season,if Ramadan plays regular he should match that.

Now where near Ready and goal output unproven Arnies was nothing to write home about was it, missed a fair few sitters. And put passes through to invisible players. And that penalty against Swansea....

We need to start to see some end product (goals, assists) from Ramadan before we can feel comfortable we have an Arnie replacement don't we?
For the moment I remain hopeful but far from convinced.

Hope so. I can see it in him. If he is going to be the finished article then this season will be the time to really put himself on the map. Has the attitude and positivity I think. I feel a good season coming on. We will sign 2 or 3 to bolster the ranks, we seem to have organised a tougher more active pre season. Younger players given the chance will step up. Hughes knows he can't fuck about this time otherwise he's down the road. Sobhi can help take us forward. Marks fault he should have been used more great talent needs the play time

Arni is probably leaving before Ramadan takes his place for his own. If so it's a good deal for all involved.

The only issue is lack of pace. Could prove a big issue. The lack of pace can be solved by strength by put the defender behind his back or by tackling to gain it, trickery which he already shown and the ultimate solution is vision and accurate passing which he can improve. Putting that aside he isn't slow, he is just not as fast as winger should be.

Arni is probably leaving before Ramadan takes his place for his own. If so it's a good deal for all involved. I suspect that one of the reasons why Ramadan did not get as many starts as he should was that MH was scared of upsetting the Prima Dona Arnie. Ramadan starting regularly will soon have the likes of Shearer and Linaker drooling every Saturday night, and we may not be on last.!!

IF we strengthen the squad in the areas needed and have a very good season, for me, Arnie can fuck off and rot.

For starters it's got to be a good thing that if ramadam loses the ball he will immediately chase after it to win it back instead of holding his leg.

To be fair the only decent run in the team he had he was starting to find his feet....and Hughes then dropped him ! Apart from that it's been sporadic appearances off the bench..often in the last 10 minutes when a game has long been lost !

arnie gets past players with 10 yard burst of pace, sobhi just goes past them and puts em on their arses.think sobhi will put more on a plate for berahino to be honest, which is the service he's been missing imho....

Ramadan will be better than Arnie and go on to achieve more in the game. He won't be angling for a move to West Ham at 28. THIS! Its not even sour grapes because of Arnie putting in a transfer request. It is clear that Ramadam will become a better player than Arnie given time. That time starts next season
