!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!! I thought that was one of the best episodes they've ever made. The only thing that let it down was Cersei not ordering The Mountain to kill Jamie. I love Jamie but, as has been pointed out, the unpredictability that made the show so special has dramatically waned in recent seasons, with big characters suddenly finding themselves invincible in the most turbulent of times. They could've put to bed all that criticism with the most unpredictable scenario of all, Cersei ordering the execution of her twin brother, the father to her unborn child and the love of her life. Additionally, it would've demonstrated her absolute ruthlessness and aided the audience feelings of disdain towards her. I don't think she's pregnant? I loved the finale, the ending reminded me of the Lord of The Rings Two Towers (Helms Deep). I've loved season 7. Gutted that it might be 2 years until season 8 and only 6 episodes? I can see one of them being a imax screening like the new Inhumans series?

I'd rather Cersei get murked by Jaime than Arya. Loads of people spunking over her list but I couldn't really give a fuck about her list.

That "Pet Northerner" line that Cersei came out with is lifted straight from the Fast Show

pretty good last showing for the series, the Stark sisters plan was good
Tormund should be alive from the wall falling, he needs to make a woman of Brienne in series 8

Anyone else notice it was going to take the horse shaggers a fortnight to get to Winterfell but a rotund blacksmith, Mo Farrah raven and a dragon did a return trip beyond the wall in under a day?

Have you watched the new one?
I have to admit, I gave up half way through episode four (as much as I loved the original).
Not as yet, have them all downloaded and plan to do an all dayer on Saturday as there's sod all to do until Sunday this weekend. As someone who confidently predicted that the new series would be shit, I think it's actually better than the originals and I am obsessed with it to the point that I don't really give a toss about GoT anymore. With the new season I would recommend just being patient and going with it rather than trying too hard to understand what the hell is going on, it all starts to come together. Also watching Fire Walk With Me before you start the new season is a good primer, and a strong movie to boot. Back on topic, last night's GoT finale was pretty good in ways that the rest of the season hasn't been.

I've always been shit at Cluedo, but I did predict Arya, killing Baelish, with the dagger that Bran gave to her.

Make of it what you will, but are the white walkers' army of wights marching in a formation that resembles the Stark sigil?

I'm cumming my pants about this.
Still reckon that 6x80mins isn't enough to satisfactorily wrap up everything, and I reckon the series is shitter for having these gay-ass ice-zombies when all the politics, scheming and military strategy is far more interesting, but still.
I'm hoping that the final scene is just a close-up of the (captioned) vaginas of Daenerys, Missandei, Cersei, Cat, Ros, Margaery, etc to "The Rains of Castermere".
(Between this post and the wrestling thread I started ten minutes ago, I might as well just kill myself by eternal re-virginity)

I just think it was better at the start with the Varys/Baelish/Tyrion scheming and those who fell for it, and how clever it was, all the manipulation and ally-making, oath-breaking and life-taking. The zombies seem like a cheap way to unite everyone. Zombies are shit. I gave up on The Walking Dead cause they spunked off zombies a bit too much.

Masie Williams (Arya) - Short Interview about the new series.
WARNING - Contains one (fairly large) spoiler.
Can't wait for the new series although will have to avoid it for a few weeks so that we can binge watch it towards the end.

I was just going to say she acted that superbly, before the reveal at the end!
But also what's with her weird part-American accent?
