Hughes has history of doing this. Bera was far from done the day we signed him...

Whats the betting that TS did not cover the euro forward to 'pay' BMI fee ? Thats 10% of the reason for the fee escalating Is that something everyone should be doing. Seems like only a short while ago that the Euro looked like a currency on the verge of collapse. How many more currencies should we cover?

What ?
If you're trying to get at the change in currency rate
August 2016 = 1.1714 May 2017 = 1.1496
Hardly 10% swing

If it turns out BMI isn't imminent, does it increase the chances of the Zouma interest being a tactic to exert pressure on Porto?
We'll soon find out!

That really reads like 'no change from last week apart from the clause having run out'. Anyone know what Sky's source was? They sounded super confident.

How do you know it's not the sentinel that has got it wrong? (Live in hope) It might be Hughes just playing it down - but Pete Smith is staying in the team hotel in Switzerland so those quotes would'e been from this morning you'd think?

But where would the medical be due, at home or in Switzerland, as I expect most of our medical team is with our first team.

It's a fee rising to 13m so what's to say he hasn't signed at the agreed fee but have insisted on certain clauses being inserted such was his form with us? A fee rising to 13m is a good deal for Bruno despite the fact that he is nowhere near the colossus that some would have us believe. Zouma would be an even better acquisition. If it was in a clause and the fee was set then it shouldn't even come into it. It was a fuck up. Bollox when you loan a player the parent club hold all the aces.IMO he is worth twice that anyway.I am just happy that we have signed him

After last nights jizz fest it now looks like the transfer is no further ahead than it was at the end of the season. You really couldn't make this shit up. Can't wait to hear the excuses when Zouma signs for West Brom. We are becoming a fucking laughing stock.

That was the bit I picked up on when I read it too. Just why on earth did we allow the clause to expire in the first place?

euro a year ago was 1.20 today 1.11
ok thats 8.2%
Since a lot of transfers are now in euros you would hope TS has covered the currency Thats part and parcel of his job

With players he wont kick a ball with. It's been another fuck up from Mr fucking fuck up. I love Momo's Scholes rants, a sick part of me wants him to remain for years so I can continue reading them. Momo or scholes?

We signed him on 31st August 2016 when it was 1.17 Today it's 1.12 Still nowhere near 10% and nothing to do with the negotiations either. If there was an agreed fee back in last August that we had to trigger by a certain date the exchange rate will have been a few hundred thousand extra at worst, certainly not enough to cause this sort of delay.

The only excuse for Zouma going else where would be the player preferred the other option, there's not a lot that can be done once its down to the player to decide, its nothing to do with wages etc.
