Ask Andy Carol to move over and make some room on the treatment table.

Stoke City will be a better team without Marco Arnoutavic....... You heard it here first. We might be, but we would then have been even better with Arnie in the team. We can slate him and hate him, but he was our most important player when he left. This is my opinion of course, but we didn't score or create many goals without Arnie being involved. A lot of people also want to give the impression he never tracked back or helped out the fullback, but if you compare him to Shaq he was close to amazing! OK, he could have been even better with his defensive duties, but he was not nearly as bad as some people would make it. I didn't like the way he went either, but money talks despite players saying other things. Close to £100 000 per week till he is 34 was simply too hard to resist, and I can easily understand that. Most modern footballers are money grabbing creatures, we just have to live with that.

Goal for Man City, scored by "Hayzoos" or to us commoners Jesus. Why do they pronounce it like that? Did Mary of Joseph fame give birth to Jesus OR Hayzoos? Just a thought......... If you're Spanish, Hayzoos, if you're English Jesus. Something similar to Bruce Grobelaar which is correctly pronounced <phlegm >raw ba lah and not Grow bee lar.

Problem is we will probably just replace him with another money grabbing wide man who we don't have any real idea whether he can or can't perform in the league . It all feels fucked up to me.

Another 2 pages because he came off with cramp during a pre season friendly
God forbid he should score during the season ahead, this thread will go into hyper drive
Or - could we anchor it now?

He turns 29 this season and they signed him to 5 years, no wonder he was so desperate to go. For all those moaning about our lack of investment atleast we show some sense, that is crazy money for a player you just know they won't be able to shift till he is 34...

I think Arnie is comfortably worth that money in the current crazy market.
It's a crying shame he is no longer our player.

£110k per week? He would not be able to do a 40 hour week in a potbank let alone 100 minutes a week on a football pitch. Ridiculous sum for a player who plays for about 20 minutes a game before giving up and blaming others for his attitude.
