Stormzy on now.. I can't wait to see the reaction he gets on here Just heard him dedicate one to his mother on the 6music live feed. He's a very rude young man with his effin' and jeffin'. I'm not against that kind of thing but I didn't think he's doing owt fresh. Been dipping in and out this aft.. thought The National were dull. Not sure what to make of Bad,Bad not Good {or whatever} the instrumental band. Ok. Father John Misty is raising the temp. with a bit of trumpet as we speak. Warpaint and Foo Fighters later hopefully.

Giving the fans what they want instead of last nights pretentious shite. Don't think that's fair at all mate ... Radiohead did what Radiohead do, stunningly well last night (just check out the forums) and Foo Fighters are doing exactly the same tonight. No doubt Ed Sheeran will do the same tomorrow night, even if I/you don't get him/(or even)them.

The Foo's over Radiohead every time for me. I like the odd Radiohead song but 2 hours of it without a break wasn't enjoyable to me at all. The Foo's are smashing it

Good tunes, smash it live but.. I just don't love them. Like, I never find myself in a "I'm gonna listen to them" mood like I get with other artists. Still, I think you may be right after album 3/4.

Phoenix on now on iPlayer are absolutely storming it. Brilliant sound and unbelievably tight.
Set of the day though goes to Anderson Paak and the Free Nationals. Awesome performance, had the crowd in the palm of his hand which isn't easy when the majority of them didn't know the tunes.

Too much guff in between songs and patronising waffle to pander to the plastic wanna-be's.......for me at any rate - like Metallica the other year - pussied down for the snowflakes

Have you been to a Foo Foighters gig? Tonight they did EXACTLY what it says on the tin but with just a little bit extra thrown in.

Yes I have seen the Foo Fighters and probably between 700 and a thousand other shows in the last 40 years if we're dick measuring.....they are like every other big band that gets inexplicably emasculated and "star struck" where the show gets watered down in some way or otherwise altered for the worse by this increasingly commercialised and politicised "establishment" gig......not saying they didn't play the songs well for the most part but it just didn't feel right.......expect DG is buzzing having finally done Glass-ton-berry - which for some odd reason has now become part of every aging rockers bucket list - as I say all a bit sad IMHO

They were brilliant but playing a festival is different to your own gig
You have to play to the entire crowd who may not be fans, not know all the music etc
Easier playing your own gig because you are preaching to the converted so to speak

I think Bob just seems a bit confused about what headlining a festival is actually all about. In fact, according to him, Glastonbury itself is just a "so called" festival.
