So are you saying you couldn't care less about our fishing industry? no, not at all, just not sure why it is suddenly the most important thing on Earth, somehow more important than all the industries that will be losing trade when we leave.
Although I suspect it's probably because it's one of few arguments for 'sovereignty' post-Brexit. I don't like the EU, but some of our apparent reasoning to leave is very odd to me. Airbus, first to announce an expansion here. We've lost quite a few business in industries whilst being a member of the EU, fishing a big one

I can't understand why once these contracts have been secured there aren't financial incentives to companies to relocate to Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle or Edinburgh. A company like Facebook doesn't need the 'prestige' of operating from London surely?

My daughter does web/app work for a Japanese company and doesn't even leave her house. Video conferencing sorts out any face to face requirement and zero carbon footprint.

Video conferencing sorts out any face to face requirement and zero carbon footprint. That's right. It's 20 years now since I was chatting to a young graduate one evening in Guisborough North Yorkshire and asked him what his job was. He said I am a computer programmer. I tried not to yawn and asked if he found it interesting/rewarding. He said "Oh yes, what really satisfies me is the amount of authority I have." I asked him what he meant and he replied that his current job was programming all the traffic management system in Sydney in preparation for the Olympics. He was working normal UK hours in Guisborough and changing all the traffic lights, speed restrictions, etc in Sydney during their night, constantly optimising them. Before I retired in 2012, I chaired a committee that had members from UK, Netherlands, India, and the far east and had regular teleconferences.

Oh come on Fella. The beginning isn’t even nearly finished yet. It’s going to take another 10yrs to realise that the past 6yrs of lies, bigotry & shear pigheadedness was only the start of something that nobody had the faintest notion of the future. Unless you’re an iconoclast & named Cummings...
