Depends if Labour have still got the organisation that they did in the 80's 90's that they did in the stoke area This hour is the crucial hour I'm in Stoke South mate and have been for the last 7 years. I've not had one knock on the door from Labour or an ounce of leaflets. Nothing. Last week, I had the Tory candidate (Jack Brereton) knock on my door and talk to me and ask who I was voting for. Make of that what you will. What usually happens is they have a list of previous votes that you have told them how your going to vote the first canvasing is to confirm that vote and it go's on a form, what then happens is if you are not labour you will not be knocked up etc. as they don't want to get opposite votes out they then if you vote the tellers taker your numbers (you don't have to give them) but they cross you off the list and you are then not disturbed later on.

A high turn out and good weather usually benefits Labour especially in the stoke area
Lets just hope that Stoke don't come bottom of the voting leagues across the country again

B with a song in my heart and as the station was fairly busy for the time and a fair proportion were young with hope in their eyes rather than grizzled with fear and bitterness in their eyes I'm buoyed! Unstuck themselves from their mattresses now there's a freebie on offer, more like. They're just as self centered as the Tories.

A - the Tories for me.
When I voted today at the village hall there was only me and Mrs Moonraker and the two polling clerks.
Sadly it'll probably be the Scottish National Party who will win this Caithness,Sutherland and Easter Ross seat.

I remember Brexit exit poll when they called it for remain.
I expect it will be a lot closer.
Tory reduced majority. Could be hung.
Labour should have backed Corbyn more.
Having screwed the working class, the Tories are now alienating their middle class vote with their cuts...

I'm assuming a lot of Labour supporters voted UKIP. I also assume that no way would they ever vote Tory as the media think they will? Not so sure because Conservatives looking for hard Brexit which is what UKIP want. That will attract UKIP voters who jump ship. Well the exit polls, based mainly on brexiteers, indicates May has royally fucked up!

She couldn't have possibly tried any harder to lose, she has made herself unelectable even when opposed by Corbyn and comrades, it makes me think she does not believe in Brexit and has no intention of leading the negotiations to take us out of the EU, maybe it would be better if we have Corbyn a true EU sceptic to lead us out

NicholasJsoftcock was pretty close with his chicken label, hope she has the decency to fall on her own sword in the morning whatever the eventual outcome, hopefully we will have a hung parliament hanging is probably about what they deserve after the way they have sold out our once proud nation.
