Neighbours are fine generally, it's some of the bellends that feel it's ok to threaten a 73 year old man, just because he tells them to move on from the concourse when the match is still in play blocking the view of the game in the dying minutes of a game. I think that has alwaysbeenaproblem the stewards never move them on and it can spoil the ending of a game particularly if it's tight ,don't really know how you solve it armed police would do it

This thread is funny and fascinating, although I'm sure it's not so funny when you actually have to spend every other weekend around those people! I had never thought about how those in the seats around you are like family that you're stuck with and have to tolerate whether or not you like them, but it makes a lot of sense.
Do any of you sit next to friends or family members that you like outside the stadium but are insufferable during games, yet you have to keep sitting next to them because they're your friends/family?

Very lucky. You don't want a gobshite, bloke with his radio telling you Rochdale are winning, a smelly cunt and a fat fucker that takes up 3 seats

The guy two rows behind me does my head in! Everything is offside for the opposition, nothing is offside for Stoke. Obviously doesn't know the rules of football. And also shouts "Pressure" at least 500 times a game 😂

The person behind I swear he has Tourettes, the people in front are ok have a bit of a chat each match. Family sit to right of me and on the left 2 seats which only saw them 2 games all last season rest of time no one there . I call the bloke near me "tourettes". He seems to go very quiet when we're winning. As soon as we're losing though, dear me! He loves a good moan! The guy two rows behind me does my head in! Everything is offside for the opposition, nothing is offside for Stoke. Obviously doesn't know the rules of football. And also shouts "Pressure" at least 500 times a game 😂 That might be "tourettes" StokieBoy. Block 22 per chance?

Either side and in front a fine, but there is young lad (about 10/11) who sits behind me who doesn't shut up stating the obvious to his grandad throughout the whole match. It's like having a miniature Michael Owen in my lug hole for 90 minutes.

Bloke and his lads to our right are a good laugh.
Bloke to our left is the quietest little man who brings his mrs every now and then, they share a roll of wine gums. He sings delilah under his breath, strange lad.
Guy a few rows in front knows all the swear words, he's about 2 more bad games away from exploding. His young lad has also picked the swear words and arm gestures up which is quite funny.
Guy one row down has a coat from the 80s, it needs a wash and so does he. Always films when we sing, another strange bloke.
I'm the top farter in the row, eye watering farts on a matchday. Poor folk.

Behind me and immediately next to me are sound. Two absolute bell ends in front and also some wankers further down the row who are always 10 minutes late, go down 5 minutes before half time, back 5 minutes after half time, then leave on 80 minutes. Seriously what's the point!? Are you on my row? We've typed almost exactly the same thing! Boothen, one row from the back mate.

I find it funny there is an Audi dealership right next to the stadium as if someone is going to pop in for a footy match and then head over to get an A4. 😂 No pubs, large eateries or squares designed for leisure, nope a few car dealerships and a bunch of people tortured as they walk by and through the lots dreaming of their Vauxhall or Clio being swapped for a mint new German engineered sports car 😏 Last season one of my few tickets we had the clown that stands up arms cross yelling as if he's a landlord. Did me in that.

Or rich corporate guests? If they've been there a while, they're clearly making a profit at that location.

My stadium neighbours are sound. The folks either side of me are top lads and get behind the team instead of moaning all the time. The chaps in front and behind of me are spot on as well. People seem to slag off the supporters up Block 19, but I haven't got any complaints whatsoever about having a seat up there.

2 lovely couples either side of where I sit, massive sack of moaning Minnies behind me though. 4 of them, every game same old negativity. I don't know why they come along some weeks, such an agenda against certain players and Hughes.

"Every time referee" amusing but can be annoying if it's a regular commentary.
A few posters on here surely recognise this fan???

I have a spare seat next to me which seems to be bought by the people on the other side of it and used to bring a mate. For the first 5 or 6 games they brought a guy who's smell was indescribable. I spent the entire game leant at a 45 degree angle away from him and suffering chronic back pain as a result, because every time he even flinched, the disgusting smell drifted across.
It almost got the the point of asking him to move as there was a spare seat on the end of the row. Luckily for me, he stopped coming a few games into the season and was replaced with more odd characters who weren't quite as lacking in personal hygiene.
