Currently having to be at home recovering from a hip op. Thankfully I can keep busy during the day without troubling the box. I gave in today and caught a garden makeover programme featuring one Charlie Dimmock. What the actual f..k has she been up to. If it wasn't for the mess of hair and the West Country twang...... Don't know why she volunteered for that rubbish before going out for a run or two. Bless her. Had me reaching for the off button.

Is she still allowing her nips to brush against her ribbed vest unhindered... Quite possibly. She'd gone for the big thick lumberjack overshirt thing which blocked the viewers appreciative glances. Pity. 😊

She's still got it, and nowadays there's so much more her to luurve ... I'd much rather Charlie than some skinny lady.

I had hip replacement in 2011 mate and remember the morning TV well.........Heir Hunters, Homes Under The Hammer , Bargain Hunt then Loose Women. But I did a regime around these because I would do my walking before Heir Hunters then watch it and Homes under the Hammer, have a sleep during Bargain Hunt, another walk then watch Loose Women. It worked along with the physio but coming off the Tremedol was a nightmare and would never advise anybody to accept these as pain relief. Hope all goes well.

I had mine 3 weeks ago and hobbled around a bit. I can get round Sainsbury's now with a stick, no driving of course yet but all I had for any pain were some paracetamol and ibuprofen if needed. Seemed to work. Other side yet to be done. How are you nowadays.

Can kayak, cycle, walk no problem but the other side has been playing up recently and will probably end up being replaced in the not too distant future. Don't rush the recovery though.... I had a kick about with a football with my grandson after about four months that set me back a bit.

Billy'll be on here soon, then we'll be sorry... A man does have fucking feelings you know., but I do have a preference for the chubster. Especially a red head. I can't help feeling though that poor old Charlie has found it difficult to pass by the pizzas on the way to the salad bar.

Best day time tv was when I was a kid off with school hols or sick - test match cricket, (or Gillette cup), Rainbow, Hickory house (with Humphrey Cushion!) or other lunch time kids stuff, hol progs like WDY, banana splits, Casey Jones (but not white horses!), or even schools progs including the excellent bbc "Me and you"!

I can put up with Bargain Hunt (just) but only because occasionally Christina Trevanion is on, and a cheeky Scots girl whose name escapes me.

" I have to rest a lot until I get better" is an ideal excuse for a boxed set binge-fest but try to remember not to add "woo hoo" after you say it. You can have my set of the Sopranos if you want it. (No, don't thank me - I'm not being kind - I know I'm in a minority, but I thought it was rubbish!) I'm hanging on to the West Wing, though. Great news that you're doing so well after the op, btw.

Since my wife retired I've had to put up with Home's under the Hammer nearly every morning. As I'm not the slightest bit interested in do it yourself, and haven't got the money to buy into property, and get a building team to do most of the work, it does my f'ing head in!
