See elsewhere we lose Swansea and hull win tomorrow then it's possible by kick off v Arsenal hull have 40 points and Swansea 38 with one to play both aT home , Meaning Wenger could effectively send us down if Watford don't follow the script and lose every game , big big game tomorrow . This is where you are exposed as a troll. All season droning on about 40 points. We get there then you start droning on making up bizarre sequences of circumstances that could send us down. If we beat Bourno you will be well and truly fucked but might start on about us getting a points deduction.

Fair play to West Ham, spending twice as much money as us on new Footballers this season and to be two points above us having played one more game is a fine achievement. They sold Payet for 25m and others raking in another 25m So that blows your 'We don't spend enough' right out of the water. Hughes is toss, in fact he's been pretty toss at every club he's been at. If he's allowed to continue we'll be relegated with a squad of expensive johnny foreigners like Newcastle and Villa You are aware of the fact that should we finish in the bottom half of the table this season, it will be the first time in his managerial career that he has failed to secure a top half finish aren't you? Not bad for a shit manager who is in the top 10 for number of premier league games as a manager.

They've spent an extra 45 million on new footballers in that time, 92million more during Hughes's reign. Perspective. You're happy then? You must think Pulis is Manager of the season by that yardstick. To be fair, your only real 'supporter' on this thread us BenjaminBiscuit. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, I assume they're facts that you've posted, fact is, I can't be arsed to check. Imho, the sooner the season finishes, the better, where we finish is an irrelevance, given how the season's panned out.

I actualy know one or two that are dying to say i told you so, and i even asked one if we won our last 5 games would it change his view of hughes, he said no. A poor season compared to the last 3 but most clubs have highs and lows.

He's making out we cant compete because West Ham have spent loads more than us. That's bollocks in my opinion. The actual problem is that we haven't invested well. The big money signings haven't really pushed us on. 15 million on Shaq and he's often injured or hit and miss when he does play. 15 million on Joe Allen and he's gone completely off the boil after a decent start. 18 million on Imbula and he can't even get on the bench. And now we've got Berahino for 12 million who doesn't look close to being the player we need to lead the line. The problem isn't that other teams have spent more. It's the fact that we've squandered our investment. The squad needs a big overhaul in the summer. The fact we're giving contracts to Adam, Walters, Ireland etc. doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Our transfer activity has been embarrasingly bad, and reflects badly on Hughes howeve you dress it up. I haven't seen the stats but as you've said, if we had spent properly, we'd be way better off now.

Allen seems to have run out of energy, Imbula has been an utter failure, especialy as a team man, jury out on berahino, and was meant as a signing for next season, rightly or wrongly, and Shaq has been good when not injured, and hope he plays many games next seasoon, then more points as the stats suggest

The words of a man who can only be hoping for a bad outcome for Stoke today. You can't dress it up any other way. He is desperate for us to lose. It's actually become an obsession with him for Stoke City to go down and he can say he was right all along. It's not normal.
