You would in France, one of the most inept countries in the world when it comes to internal security. Mostly down to the cowardly and totally unorganised approach from their security and police personnel.

The approach of the security personnel reflects the philiosophy of their fanny government and that clown of a prime minister they have

I don't know the circumstances surrounding events in Lyon, but as I recall Besiktas fans were the loudest away following I've ever heard at the Brit. From my experience they were pretty well behaved too.

They have some football hooligans and a stupid macho element exists but not sure why that has anything to do with being Muslims? Russia, UK, non Muslim countries also have violence problems. Typical Church of England orthodox I suppose?

It all stems from the match at Lyon in November, Lyon won 2-1 but Bastia played out the match with 9 men
At the end of the match the Bastia manager felt hard done by and said that they needed to sort out the problem like men in the return match !

What a great 'Away Day' that was in Istanbul Sept 2011 watching the Mighty Potters lose 3-1 to Besiktas.
Who will ever forget Ric's goal?
Superb Atmosphere.
About 250 Stokies I reckon.
No trouble whatsoever.
Great experience.
