We need a new midfield,not a manager.

I'm sticking with Sparky, but we need a massive rebuild in the summer.

I can't think of any top manager who would swap his club and come to us! The rest would be worse or no better.

I'll stick but major surgery isn't happening. Too much to do in one window.

Doesnt deserve to be sacked after three 9th placed finishes. However doesnt hide the fact we have big problems. We'll just scrape this season, maybe 14th so he deserves just ONE more season.

Give him one more year and see where we are then (unless in Jan we are really in the shit)

There should be a "haven't made my mind up yet" option!

Amazing that there are any at all who want to "give him one more year"!! How much evidence do they need???

Without Lakeland's option I'm going for a change. I have thought we'd end up in about 14th for a while but it's the way he's deconstructed things over the last season or so with very little sign of appearing to know what he's doing. Someone else needs to make the brave decisions with team and squad selection. If he stays I won't gnash my teeth or wail, but will expect early Summer activity to show we have a plan.

Amazing that there are any at all who want to "give him one more year"!! How much evidence do they need??? Three 9th places, never achieved by another manager. People want to be careful for what they wish for. Coates is a wise man and will pick the right time to change. Hughes himself may decide he has had enough. One thing is certain, if he moved on he would not be long before he picked up a good job; lots of clubs would love to have him.

And rightly so, he is a good manager, as people keep banging the drum about, 3 9th placed finishes there can be no doubt. However he has lost the ability to manage us in my opinion, much like Pulis did, it would be good for both parties if we went our separate ways.

I think he has enough credit banked to start next season, however if he starts next season like this and previous seasons , he should be gone by October.

For me there has got to be a problem with the manager and his relationship iwth some of our biggest signings, i think the cheaper option is to replace Hughes for someone who will bring the squad back together rather than get rid of those players

when we have changed managers in the past we have been relegated.yes we need a good rid out in the summer players like bojan bony, imbula have obviously affected our team spirit.

Recruitment and new contracts to date have been mainly poor and expensive, with just a couple of odd exceptions. If Hughes is the man responsible for recruitment {is he?) and similarly responsible for the dishing out of new contracts, then he should definitely fall on his sword. Best squad we've ever had, my ar*e based on performances this season. And if really it is the best squad we've ever had, then the manager is certainly not getting the best out of it, far from it. Something major has to change, we're going backwards and, in the main, are awful to watch. Mr Coates has some real big decisions to make and soon.

I think it's time to change. This is not knee jerk, this is been coming since last spring. Hughes has some great players at his disposal and is not getting the best from them which is down to several factors, selection, system, tactics which if anything are getting worse. We had a discussion in our office on the highlight this season at home and for many it was Chelsea..... a game we lost, I think that pretty much sums up this season. I didn't want Hughes at Stoke but he quickly changed my opinion of him and we have seen some of the best football in my lifetime under him and seen some great players but boy do we look lost this season, a season which can't end soon enough for many. The big issue for Coates is if he is to invest in the squad, is Hughes to be trusted with a large funds? after the Imbula fiasco I feel the answer to be no.

One thing is certain, if he moved on he would not be long before he picked up a good job; lots of clubs would love to have him. u reckon?..... i feel this is his last chance saloon job after the qpr debacle, if he'd had a storming time here, id agree with u, but i dont think anyone outside of small relegation/promotion clubs would give him the time of day. this 9th place doesnt wash, weve been pretty poor all season, and up until last night, we were still ninth, that says more about the state of the league this year than is does about us. nothing short of a mad rush for the tape should even save him for me, if it goes the other way, we'l be nowhere near 9th come may. and this " no one out there" things nonsense as well, if there isnt anyone interested in taking the job during the pre season, there sure as hell wont be come january if were in the shit and sack him. lets not overlook the nearĀ£50m hes spent, bojan, joselu, Wollscheid, diouf, shaquiri, imbula, and before u start stating some of them were on frees..... you still have to pay a signing on fee and wages, the point is, looking at his signings and there cost.....would you be quick to offer him more of your money .....its all about opinions, and mine is his times up

I'm OUT atm but barely, I'd like to see a strict transfer policy written out pre-summer with focus on rebuilding the midfield! Any more hiccups this season or a poor start then I can be easily pushed to definetly OUT out, I'm teetering on IN. I need to see real progress these next few games.

The result will be heavily biased by being after a losing game so should be taking place at the end of the season.
