are we contractually obliged to wear an away strip for every away game?

We wear red and white quite often away from home. Man City was the last time for obvious reasons. Legally there is no such thing as an away strip. There is a home strip and a second strip. We get first choice of our home strip for home games but we can wear either in away games if there is no colour clash.

At a guess Man City, being as our away kit is identical to their home kit.
