According to some expert on the radio only 12% are successful. I'm having a go at ditching the sugar again. He also said the reason most fail is that it's a repeat resolution of a past failure........he also mentioned the magic word........willpower

Yes I'm still celibate.

Deep fried cheeese balls or wedges. Used to like the Findus nuclear cheese parcel things under the grill too. Never dreamt of dipping any of them in jam though. Fondue too.

Do you ever have cheese with a slice of Christmas cake ? A nice piece of crumbly Cheshire, or some Wensleydale, or even Cheddar sometimes goes down a treat with a slice of cake. Never had it with double Gloucester or Red Leicester, and Stilton is obviously just too overpowering.

Starter was a baked brie with a homemade fruit chutney accompaniment .....delicious....especially while drinking in a crystal clear view of the Roaches out the back window

I was with the kids....I was lucky I was allowed to drive into Tittesworth after for a cup of tea and a piece of cake. It's been party central for them from pre Xmas til New Years Day so I was lucky to get them to lunch on time
