I am pretty confident that the vast majority of all football loving supporters, including most Stokies, would join me in wishing Seamus Coleman a full and speedy recovery from his terrible injury last evening. I am also very confident that 99.9% of footballers, professional or amateur, do not go onto a football field with the intention of breaking an opponent's leg, and I hope that the Welsh player Taylor is not too badly affected mentally by what happened. Get well soon Seamus and looking forward to seeing you back on the pitch next season as early as physically possible.

Didn't even look fussed by his leg break, hard as nails he is. I'm hoping he will recover, one of the best right-backs in the league.

I wish him all the best.
I have not seen the tackle, the only photo I have seen is one of the referee showing the red card. Interestingly, Aaron Ramsey is in the foreground with his arms raised.
Surely any cynical or sceptical view that he was somehow demonstrating his upset at his team mate being sent off would be misplaced. Wouldn't it?

Of course I would, he's a cracking player, but he's not our player. He's a dirty little fucker who loves to ref the game as well.

Fair enough, I thought you were sticking it to him, can't call you up on apathy but I can empathise with a pro footballer breaking his leg, even if he's got a history of dishing it out a bit.

I have just tweeted Chris Coleman to ask if he is going to ask Ramsey if Neil Taylor is okay to play for Wales again! That tackle was horrendous just as Bales was also a sending off offence!
Disgusted by both Bale and Taylor.
Hoping Seamus Coleman recovers soonest. Thoughts are with him.

Interesting thought please correct me if this is wrong but didn't Aaron Ramsey say injurys of this type don't happen without some intent and malice. Wonder if that still applies.
Hope the lad recovers quickly looks awful

Hope you have a speedy recovery seamus and its not to long before you are back playing football again. Thoughts are with you. It's a decent sentiment but what's the point will Coleman receive a copy of this thread? If you are so concerned find out which hospital he is in or send a message to Everton F.C. What next lighting a candle and holding a vigil. I struggle to understand concern about someone you don't know or has no connection to you whatsoever....it's a baffling aspect of modern society

He's broken his leg folks not been blown to bits in Afghanistan. There's no harm in wishing the lad a speedy recovery. But we do appear to have gone into full on Princess Diana, flower throwing, mourning mode for him. I suppose it's symptomatic of the way we tend to deal with shit that happens nowadays.
