Fair enough, Mick. It might be anything, yet, but it sounds pretty familiar, doesn't it? Don't get me wrong, i see what you're saying but (and believe me, i'm no security or terrorism expert) it actually seems very different to any of the other ISIS related attacks in europe. One man armed (as far as we know) only with a knife attacking an actual seat of government? Most of the previous major attacks have been airports, clubs, restaurants (i.e. hugely crowded areas) etc. with the intention of killing as many people as possible whereas his focus seems mainly based around the HoP. In terms of MO, this seems completely unfamiliar compared to the rest we've seen over the last couple of years. Time will tell though what, nothing like Nice or Berlin where vehicles were used to plough into groups of people? |

Unsophisticated but horrific, this one is set to run and run, it seems all you need is a 4x4 Hyundai and a knife, its a job to know what to do if these savages don't care who they mame and kill or where how they do it  We should make it clear to readers that other smallish 4x4 vehicles are available. Being serious - as you say the use of vehicles as a weapon against pedestrians in crowded places seems set to become more and more common simply because it is so difficult to guard against. As are "lone wolf" attacks. |

In terms of my "first thoughts", they're listed above i.e. wait until we actually have some FACTS before we start hunting down people who's skin may be a tad darker than my own.
