That's disgraceful should be Motorhead and White Lightning! Man city fans choice is listening to George Michael while supping that new-ish craft beer called Blue Moon. Nowt wrong with blue moon, get a good few pints in at the Glebe before a game, goes down great.

I honestly don't remember but thats not unusual I've not got a great memory for football games I've been to hundreds, into thousand odd in all likelyhood and I don't remember many I have a job with games from earlier this season don't know why I've got a reasonable memory otherwise but I just can't recall particular football games like many other supporters do. I've been to loads of games and later heard there was loads of trouble and arrests etc yet seen nothing of it. To be completely honest I've been going regularly since the Durban promotion season. Used to sit on the wall in the Butler Street paddock as a kid right next to my heroes of the day, I saw those horrible fences go up and come down in total bemusement because you know I've NEVER really witnessed any major football violence except on tv. I honestly think that unless its something you associate with its generally not happening around you. Surely you'd remember whether you'd been a game or not that ended with both us and them getting relegated to division three? BM I've been to loads of pivotal games and I don't remember them either. I've a very strange memory with football games for some reason one of my more memorable games was 5-4 vs Barnsley at the Vic in a game that as far as I remember wasn't very important at all. Its like as I say when I started going regular I can remember the season, I can remember being promoted with Crystal Palace and Brighton but I can't remember a single game or goal and wouldn't be able to tell you the year without looking it up.

I want to know when Manchester City fans became such pussies. First half they were squealing like Arsenal fans at perfectly clean (and very visibly clean) hard tackles which got 100% of the ball. Of course the most despicable part of the evening was Sane's horrendous dive in a direct attempt to get Bards sent off. The big man of course just laughed it off and made Sane look the cunt he is. Absolutely mate!! Howling and blarting at absolutely anything. Pathetic. So glad we stuck it to em last night. Some expert tackles going in.

ok you have put your point across back to my question did you go when we got relegated against man city....if you did go you will know it wasnt just so called hooligans getting involved it was just a free for all what i saw I honestly don't remember but thats not unusual I've not got a great memory for football games I've been to hundreds, into thousand odd in all likelyhood and I don't remember many I have a job with games from earlier this season don't know why I've got a reasonable memory otherwise but I just can't recall particular football games like many other supporters do. I was at that game and from memory, I saw people having verbals all over the place, some argy bargy from people I have never seen before or since. The whole atmosphere was dicey and It could have gone off big time. But it didn't, the majority walked away from the stadium gutted and numb from both sets of supporters.

😂😂😂😂 Opportunity blown Stoke were just utterly fucking miserable though. Boring fucking bastards. You know your not going down, you know your not making Europe. So, why not come and have a game of football? Why cone to sit back like that when it doesn't matter either way. Just a shit 6 fingered club with a fucking journey man manager What the eejit really wanted to say was - They've nothing to play for so they should have just come here and thrown in the towel and let us have all 3 points without breaking a sweat

The best chance of the night, IMHO, was Ramadan's short cross into the middle. Lovely bit of skill, that only needed a touch, and it would have been a lovely well created goal.

they are bound to be frustrated and moan a bit, especially on the forums, and whilst we played well our first objective was to stifle, and we did plenty to take the pace out of the game and ensure they didn't get any momentum going.
Most city fans seem pretty genuine to me (not like the red shirted ones up the road from them) and will be well aware their team came up short on the night against a committed opponent.
It makes me cringe to read some of the shit that's written on here after each match and I imagine the average city fan feels the same.
Forums, no place for emotional intelligence or empathy unfortunately.

I've never understood the view that 'lesser' teams who opt to stifle other sides from playing an open game and scoring a hatfull are being boring.
Last I checked it's a competitive sport and if we opted to compete through being compact, defending well and limiting their chances that's every bit as valid as looking to go romping forward and getting spanked.
If we'd never left our half then fair enough, but we created some decent chances ourselves.
Symptomatic of the modern football fan I suppose.

Even my missus, who hasn't got much tolerance for football, said how much she enjoyed last night's match on the telly. I thought it was a masterclass in game control from Hughes and the lads.

BM In fairness, Mick, his view of the goings on that day may have been obscured by Neville Southalls enormous backside which unfortunately was never in front of our goal for their five goals.

We should tell them to steal Vale's song as well to cheer them up, they already have ours and Crewe's.

What were you supposed to do? Roll-up and roll over?
Well played Stoke and Shawcross looks back to his best. Ramadam looks useful too..
You were in the game from start to finish and got what you deserved. Hughes tactics were spot on IMO.
I wish we’d been a bit more circumspect against Chelsea on Monday with more defensive resilience but maybe the Mancs (both sets) are having to accept (that this season) the killer instinct to beat teams that make it a contest is missing and they're not as good as they assume.
Tough!!

It didn't end up too good for them, considering how they thought they were going to take over the Brit and the home stands. Never seen so may bleating whiny Mancs and blokes running as fast as an Olympic athlete. To be fair mate, they gave us a dicking on the pitch that day and even though their attempted taking of our end failed miserably, it was a shit of a day. The only thing pleasurable about our games back then was a walk through Moss Side and picking up a cheap blow job. A certain bunch of us went to Maine Road one year when the game against Leicester got postponed. It went very well in the Villa end until a Stoke song started. Watch it pal. You're showing your credentials right there. Some people might boo hoo and crybaby, and call you a hooligan. Which I'm sure would hurt you deeply and force you to seek counselling. Have a good day. 😋

Used to walk down to the Vic from Smithpool Rd, get fish and chips from Wheeldon Rd chippy Butler St paddock then Boothen end when I was grown enough to cope with the surge etc. Walk back same route never seen any serious trouble. In fact I think I posted the worst thing I've seen on another thread. Got tickets for a Stoke Vale game in with the vale fans because Stoke had sold out. When we scored some other Stoke fans in the same stand celebrated openly and a group of vale thugs went to have a set to with them and in their blind rage knocked an old man (one of their own) down between rows of seats and didn't give a fuck about him. Guess what when they got to the Stoke fans they shouted and gesticulated at each other, stewards came and removed the Stoke fans and there wasn't even a proper bloody fight. Why do football fans fight? We live and work alongside each other day in day out without issue often enjoying banter with people who support other clubs. People behave strangely in large groups (herds) I've never been part of any herd maybe thats why I've never had or seen any serious trouble, maybe I've been there when it happened and been completely oblivious to it or maybe it happens around you because you associate with the herd or are part of the herd. I just go to watch games of football.
