If you've never seen any of them before then you should look up the one where Reece and Steve are cat burglars (series 1 episode 2). It's some of the best comedy of the last 20 years.

Only saw Riddle of the Sphinx last week ( "Would you prefer leg or breast") but it's some of the best & original comedy I've seen in a very long time.

Great stuff. They've been responsible for some of the best dark comedy characters perhaps ever. The mere thought of Hilary Bliss sends shivers. Even as Mycroft I'm frit scared of Pemberton. His murkin as the aunt.
And as for Papa Lazaru. He can fuck right off.
Geniuses.

Agreed - bloody brilliant stuff though I preferred series 1 and 2 to what I've seen so far in series 3. I'm a huge LOG fan as well - loved Pemberton as Herr Lipp and Gatiss as Mickey.

I'm easily confused.. is there some story about the League being inspired by Wormhole village up in the hills.

Big spoon baby baloon. Wtf. Jesus wept, just had to look it up and see if it was quite as disturbing as i remembered...........less than 10 mins in and i needed a break. Thanks for that. I'd fairly successfully buried it. * It was the 'Day Today' radio shows that spawned Partridge and Morris etc that first got me interested. Some time later a mate knocked out compilation tapes with interludes from Blue Jam on the radio. One was entitled 'Big Spoons...' with Pulp, Salad, Tiny Monroe.. early Britpop stuff on it. The racing commentary when Santa's Boyfriend won the Barbara Bush Handicap got me hooked.

Very funny and well written comedy. Reminds me of how Early Doors sneaked upon us quietly then disappeared. That too was comedy gold never to be seen again.

I've just bought boxed sets 1 & 2 on the strength of this! Last night's karaoke one was brilliant. The only other time I've seen it before was two weeks ago - paying the restaurant bill, etc. Already hooked.

Not wishing to wet on anyone's chips but I thought the Karoake one was disappointing. Not up to the usual standards etc.
There's some good stuff on BBC3 imo. 'This Country' 'People do nothing' and that 'Witless' thing have raised smiles.
It's kind of the breeding ground like what radio used to be. (I hope).

Many thanks for posting all the clips Watched the Sardines one. Excellent. Want to watch them all but am restraining myself (with great difficulty) and waiting for the DVDs to arrive. Gawd knows how RS and SP think them all up, especially as they're both SUCH hugely talented actors. Roll on next week's ep!
