Is civil war coming to America ?... i wouldn't totally discount it. The democrats try and impeach every republican president simply because they don’t like losing Bless them Sounds vaguely familiar....

If they somehow manage to oust Trump from office there will be civil war, it would go off big time. It might even go off if he wins a 2nd term! Things are at boiling point over there.

It’s strange, in a way, that Trump’s critics don’t praise his approach to war - meaning he is massively opposed to them. Well those involving US troops leastways. Which, as all good lefties will tell you is the main cause of war in the first place. As you say, getting shot of Bolton was inevitable for the reasons given. The problem for Trump is he kept him too long to allow him to get US troops out of Afghanistan during his term of office. It adds up to a whole load of fails on what he said he would do while in office. He is beginning to look all mouth and no trousers. If the Democrats find a half decent candidate they should win the next election comfortably. If they don’t, get ready for 4 more years of Trumpisms! Trumps opponents will not allow themselves to praise him, they automatically set themselves on the opposite side of everything trump does IE if Obama had held talks with Kim Jong Un they probably would have praised him for averting possible war, but trump is “legitimising a dictator” ... no doubt there are things to criticize trump on but his opponents are just knee jerk against everything he does. I don’t know what he’s waiting for on Afghanistan, sooner or later the US will pull out and the taliban, in one form or another, will return, in fact they already are back in power In some regions. I think the only way he loses 2020 is if there’s a recession, which isn’t out of the question, I don’t think the democrats have a candidate capable of beating him otherwise. Can't see a recession happening. I have lived over for 20 years and have never known a time like it. You are right the Democrats do not have a candidate capable of beating him.

Who we praying to, Beelzebub!?! probably prays to himself. I actually think this will backfire on the democrats, it plays into trumps narrative that everyone is out to get him and stop him implemented what he was voted in to do, they're giving him an excuse, he can say "i'm trying to get things done but the democrats are more interested politically assassinating me"... he gets to keep playing the martyr role.

All signs point to impeachment in the Democratic-controlled house, but you might not know it looking at Trump's approval ratings.
The president now boasts a 45% job approval rating, according to the latest poll from Gallup, released this morning.
That's still lower than any president would want, but Trump's ratings have actually increased by six percentage points since the House launched an impeachment inquiry against him in the autumn, and they are just one point down from his all-time high of 46%
And in more bad news for Democrats, Gallup found that a whopping 89% of Republicans approve of Trump's performance on the job.
Only 8% of Democrats agree.

Trumps' Letter to H o Representatives ahead of the hearing. Apparently it only took 19minutes after Trumps inauguration for the Washington Post to publish the headline "The capmpaign to impeach President Trump has begun". Worth a read. www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Letter-from-President-Trump-final.pdf?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=whThe left in the US are as deluded as the left in the UK. You've only got to look at the Democrat controlled states and cities to see a direct correlation in demographics and mindset and why the working class backbone of the US sees them for what they are - losers. The lefts agenda in the US mirrors the remain nonscence in the UK - they harder they try to smear or undermine - the stronger the eventual reaction. Trump will win easily in 2020 imo.

I gave her a cheeky "Did you vote blue" to be informed that she hadn't voted this time which surprised me. She said she couldn't stand either Corbyn or Boris and that no canvasser had bothered to visit during the election because her voting intention is taken for granted.... sounds like Bucknall mark two.

The democrats lost and have never accepted the result, from day one it was their mission to bog Trump down, just like brexit in the UK its likely going to backfire on them.
Now Trump has his narrative for 2020 "the establishment and fake news is out to get me, trying to stop me implementing the things you voted for in 2016, lets send them a message in 2020 and vote me in for a 2nd term"

I'm not a big fan of trump, he's clearly a massive narcissist but they attack him from all the wrong angles, they shouldn't focus on him at all, its what he wants, they should have been diligently building up candidates to beat him in 2020, right now polls show him beating every single democratic candidate.

There are very few recent polls that have him beating Sanders, Warren or Biden. He beats some of the lesser known (at least by me) candidates, but to say he is beating every single candidate is simply not true.
