Is that Crouchy's cranium peaking out just above Whelan's left ear? They don't look too happy, but I wouldn't be either if I was made to travel in some festering old tat from the club shop

Have they not got some smart casual chino's and shirt-no-tie outfits? A subtle SCFC embroidered somewhere.

A similar trip took place during the Welshman’s maiden campaign as City boss, with the Club then pushing on to record a first ever Premier League top half finish at the end of the 2013/14 season.
The Potters also embarked upon an almost identical stay in the Gulf and went on to enjoy a remarkable upturn in fortunes over the second half of the 2014/15 campaign as City secured a successive top ten finish.
What about last year's capitulation then?

I'm sure waggy could put them in touch with Greenwoods and get some SCFC branded slacks on the cheap.........

A month after we got back from Dubai? Fair enough..... I thought the point of these warm weather sessions was to aid fitness for the rest of the season not just the game(s) immediately after? That's part of it I guess, but I would offset that with a terrible run of injuries at the back end of the campaign, plus some tough fixtures against the likes of Man City, Tottenham and Liverpool. A record of W4 D3 L5 after we got back is hardly a "capitulation" all things considering I would argue?

I thought the purpose is to kick back a bit and enjoy some down time, a round of golf and a couple of russian prostitutes perhaps

A record of W4 D3 L5 after we got back is hardly a "capitulation" all things considering I would argue? And Given or Haaugard in goal I must admit I think the goalkeeping situation was a key part of our complete meltdown at the end of last season. Between Given and Haugaard they didn't make too many laughable howlers it was more a case any semi-decent shot heading towards our goal ending up in the back of the net. It was must have been soul destroying for our defenders, I think they just gave up in the end!
