How is he not getting in Porto's team? Must've asked myself this question ten times yesterday, and probably every match he has played. Talk about hitting the ground running, I cant think of a bad performance! Even remotely bad. Like Pugs says, Stoke fans watch defenders very closely, and boy has he delivered. Ask Wooly if he felt watched

Defend the point you start with first. Then go and win the game. Bruno and Ryan provided us with that solid platform. They absolutely dominated Palace's main threat Benteke, and dealt with everything that came in from their only other threats Townsend and Zaha. Both were quite comfortably MOTM #1 and #2. It's far easier to destroy rather than create. Why is it that forwards generally command the most money? . You don't half talk some shite

Without Arnie and Sohbi though we wouldn't of won that game. Â That's the difference. That's an entirely different debate than the one we're having about who was MOTM in one game against Palace. Yes you're right to say without Arnie or Sobhi we may not have won it, but without Bruno and Ryan we could very easily have lost it as well. Hence the "defend the point you start with" comment.

Ryan covered Bruno's arse on at least one occasion where he fucked up. Both have each others backs. Both played really well. Him and Ryan have a great partnership going now. IMO he's brought Ryan back to life. Him and Grant...that defensive trio is now one of the most solid I've seen in a long time. Ryan covers him, he covers Ryan..it's a thing of beauty. The back 5 have to have faith in one another, if that's not there you're on the back foot instantly. They compliment each other so well. Shawcross got Bruno out of a massive hole yesterday when Bruno played an utterly shit pass but Bruno has covered Ryan's arse when he's looked flat footed and been skinned up the pitch. If you throw in a CB that the other doesn't trust into that mix and it will be chaotic. They have that understanding though and BMI's signature is vitally important. Good CBs are as rare as rocking horse shit to find these days. And the one Hughes wants will cost north of 20m.....

You don't half talk some shite Tell me what is factually incorrect with what I have put. 1. Your characterisation of a defender's job being simply to "destroy" 2. Your suggestion that a defender's job is "far easier" than an attacker's There are all manner of reasons why defenders generally cost less than attackers. Having an "easier" job is not one of them

Fucking hell Stoke, just buy him a caravan on the Black Cat site in Towyn, close enough for work, close enough to get to Puffin Island. It's a win win for BMI. Let's hope it isn't pissing down when he gets to Costa Del North Wales.

I have been told he will definitely sign. The person who told me has decent contacts at the club but wouldn't tell me any more. Make of that what you will but it kind of backs up what he's saying himself.
