The relationship between Ryan and pulis came to an end in the week leading up to the Valencia away fixture. why? not heard that before. He objected, bitterly, to being left out of the travelling party to Valencia and a major fall out ensued. Not only with Ryan but other senior players as well. Pulis was sacked as much for losing the dressing room as he was results and performances...not that his disciples would ever accept that. There is no love lost between anyone at stoke city, including peter coates, and tony pulis and his departure was neither mutual or amicable.

What a fuckin pathetic thing to do to the opposition captain and his former captain.Like I said after the WBA game last season I'd be forever grateful for what he did here but since he's gone he's acted like a complete CUNT towards our club Of course he has, why is anyone surprised? Wouldn't you be bitter? You've had and lost the best job you could ever wish for, and watched your replacement waltz in, improve the football, have a negative net spend and finish higher than you could ever dream of 3 seasons in a row. It must pinch a bit.

Choke on that one you capped snake. I will always be grateful to him for getting us in to the promised land and keeping us there but I have, as of now, lost any respect I ever had for the cunt. A vindictive, spiteful man who's done nothing but cause unrest and strife at every club he's been at, even defrauding some in the case of Palace, which thankfully came back to bite him on the arse royally. The man is a classless cunt, and how anyone can stand there and fully endorse this mans utterly detestable behaviour is beyond me, I'm thrilled he's no longer associated with our club, cretin.

He is a cnut! Next season we must put him in his place! The thing that sickens me most, is the crawling round the top dogs. Cannot stand it! Can you imagine one of the top clubs giving him a job, because I'm f---ed if I can!

Can't imagine him calling Ryan a loser. Think I would take the word of Hughes over the convicted fraudster Pulis.

Even as someone that can't stand the rat featured cunt, I was ready to say without reading the quotes, where's the evidence. Did Hughes say that in a conference this week?
Thats got me fucking seathing and it's a damn shame we've already played Albion at home. I sincerely hope this slimy, repignant, poisonous cunt gets it from all four sides next season for 90 minutes.
Pulis- you're a fucking cretin.

Can we let this be the end of it? Pulis has divided the fans of Stoke City for far too long. Surely this piece will end this division. Any self respecting Stokie seeing him hug Wenger will have felt a bit sick. Chuck this in and surely that's got to be the end of it.
For pitys sake it's time to forget him and rally behind the club.

Yesterday I would have said that Pulis did an extremely good job at Stoke, which overshadows my suspicion that he is a nasty piece of work.
Today I would say that Pulis is an extremely nasty piece of work which overshadows anything he ever did for Stoke.

There is of course a point of order on daves post and that's that the Coates family attended a Pulis family wedding well after his sacking which brings his version of events under some scrutiny. Any lingering respect seems to be all but evaporated now though.

Achieving what numerous other 'middling' managers would/could/should have with untold support from the best chairman any manager could wish to work for? It's not the impossible dream some make it out to be..look at the list of 'middling' managers who have got promoted to the Prem since 2008 alone. Plenty of them. I prefer to believe that it was our turn, and Pulis happened to be manager. So fuck him.
