As a kid growing up in the 80's, surrounded by local Liverpool gloryhunters (including Robbie Williams I might add...vale fan my arse), this is one of only 6 games a season I want Manure to win. Arsenal and Chelsea being the other 4. Isn't he Chelsea? Thought he had a box at one point before he moved to America I've seen him in the Millstone Butt Lane, with a vale top on with a few lads and they'd just got back from an away match watching port vale

He did. He was a Liverpool fan at school though He was Vale by the time he was in his mid teens. Was he fuck. As a 15 year old, he was still turning up at school and playing football in his ridiculous Liverpool beanie hat. He added Port Vale to the list of clubs he supported when they enjoyed their little period in the sun and the never heard before phrase "pride of the potteries" made an appearance. He was a nice lad but when it came to football, he was a glory hunting wanker. He was ridiculed for declared love of Port Vale by all of his mates as it came from nowhere.

Well he was running around in a Vale top at the same time then!
