Good little player Lenny Hackett came from Shrewsbury didn't he ? Used to push a pram full of rubbish up Kidsgrove bank. Is that the one? Very miss understood character old Lenny lived round the corner from me and after all the shit we gave him and his wife as kids do i later was told he was a bus driver and a young girl walked behind his bus while he was reversing and unsighted and was tragically killed and he vowed never to drive again and was always seen on that push bike. Then again i used to see the Kidsgrove Bogart all the time!

Saw them on the telly the other day as well, or whatevers left of them. Brummie tossers. Is Hackett only 54? Shit. A spring chicken then. Black country not brummie, please! Mind you they still speak with a funny accent around these parts! You sure? I'm no expert but I think they were from the Digbeth, Balsall Heath, Small Heath area. Not that it matters they all yam yam the same.

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Hackett was born in Stourbridge, and if I called my neighbour here a Brummie, I would get a mouthful of dog's abuse! No official boundary between Birmingham and the Black country, but I think of the M5 as my rough guide.
